Being in an ideal situation to be able to descend the most incredible ravines is a piece of luck that we have at Trek by Step. Always with the best safety equipment and accompanied by technicians, you can practice canyoning all year round.
Salamanca or the north of Cáceres are some of our favorite destinations to have a good day:
All descents also include a photo report and a snack at the end, where we can share our impressions and regain strength.

Passionate about river rafting? Do you want to try descending the fast current of a river in a kayak for the first time? At Trek by Step we take you to the most exciting and fun kayak descents you will find in Castilla y León. You will do it guided by professional instructors and in a spectacular landscape environment. We will move to the Águeda River and the Tormes River. What a blast!
For outings as a couple, in a group, with the family... You will only have to choose between one of our descents and start sailing along the river. Depending on its difficulty, we will tell you which one is indicated according to your experience and age. This way, you can choose between:
Descent in the town of Ciudad Rodrigo you will find a wonderful section that we will travel in an approximate time of 2 hours. Of medium-low difficulty, it is suitable for people with or without experience. At the end of the journey we will give you a snack to recharge your batteries.
Descent Sanjuanejo to Ciudad Rodrigo. This section is also easy. Suitable for all people who are prepared to carry out an activity that will take approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes.
For the most adventurous, those looking for a more complete experience. We propose the Siega Verde descent for 2 days and one night. We will descend in our kayaks on a 30-kilometer itinerary in which we will travel along the Águeda River.
On all descents you will have the material provided by us: kayak, paddle and life jacket (neoprene and booties if necessary). In addition, a complete photographic report will be included in all of them.
There are places that invite you to explore them in a different way. This is what happens with Ciudad Rodrigo, where at Trek by Step we invite you to get to know its surroundings from our kayaks, on routes designed for all and in which, in addition, you will have a great time.
We offer you the most refreshing tours in these small boats that are very easy to handle, among other things, because being two-seater, your companion will help you row.
In any case, we will always give you the necessary material, as well as a spike to rest and recharge your batteries. The photos will not be lacking so that we have memories of the best moments.

Going into a cave, as long as you don't have any type of phobia, and discovering the treasures that are hidden inside it with formations from years and even centuries ago, is an indescribable experience that sinceTrek by Stepwe encourage you to discover.
If you have never tried caving before, that is perfect, because the routes along the underground paths that we propose, always in the Burgos environment, are perfect for beginners due to the low difficulty that they all present.
In all cases, the safety material as well as the first aid kit is included, although you are always accompanied by an expert speleologist, who will also immortalize the moment with photographs.
And if you are one of those who like to add an extra touch of excitement to all your outings, tell us and if conditions allow, we can combine the activity with others such as rappelling, climbing or canyoning.

Walking is an activity that is not only recommended by doctors to stay fit and healthy, we also recommend it from Trek by Step but with the added bonus of our hiking routes /strong>through different parts of Burgos or the Central System we are convinced that you will end up becoming fond of a very healthy practice.
The Sierra de la Demanda, belonging to the Burgos orography, presents sections of different difficulty:
From the Central System we would not know which route to choose, since any of them presents a natural beauty to remember:
Ask us about accommodations where we usually stay to start the routes rested and where you don't have to worry about anything other than enjoying the experience.
Are you looking to feel a sensation of vertigo with the security of having everything under control? So you are thinking about practicing a via ferrata and at Guiamos tu Ocio - Trek by Step we have the best ascents. The first thing we will do is explain to you what it is, its difficulty and, later, we will give you a choice between different outings. All of them will be carried out in the Autonomous Community of Castilla y León.
What options do you have?
Located in Huerta del Rey (Burgos), we will take you to ascend the via ferrata of El Ranero. Lasting between 2 and 3 hours, you will take a 400-meter route in which you will overcome a difference in altitude of 50 meters. Composed of three bridges and a collapse, it is perfect to come with children, its level is simple and the views are spectacular. Of course, the minimum age is 12 years.
Going up one level more than the previous one, we find the via ferrata Pasarela de La Espeja. In this case we will dedicate an approximate time of 3-4 hours to overcome a route of 1,000 meters. Due to its length and obstacles that we will encounter, we recommend it for people in good physical shape (not recommended for children). It will be a fun route in which you will cross 3 bridges, a 30-meter rappel and slide down a zip line while enjoying the views of Espeja de San Marcelino, in Soria.
For all of you who have already practiced some type of via ferrata, and for those who have not. The El Sobron via ferrata will not disappoint you, it is perfect for everyone. Thanks to its different sections we can choose which one to ascend: easy, medium and difficult. We will travel to Miranda de Ebro and Vitoria to access this exciting ascent on a 550-meter route. Although it will depend on the pace of the group, the estimated completion time is 4 hours. (children from 14 years old)
On all ascents we will provide you with technical climbing material: harness, helmet and heat sinks. The guide will explain how to use it. You will have a great time!

Archery is an activity that never fails in terms of fun and the ease of organizing the targets, bow and arrows in any quiet and spacious place. Although the skill is no longer within this facility, because it is you who has to bring out the best in you to be able to hit the target, at least once.
At Trek by Step we bring you archery to Burgos. We are a company dedicated to active tourism in Castilla y León and we think that this ancient sport is a good option on many occasions. In addition, we do multi-adventure packs in some towns in the province where fun in nature is the order of the day.
If you live inPineda de la Sierra, La Nuez de Arriba, Soncillo or Espinosa de los Monteros, you can now choose the archery packs along with climbing and rappelling, or with a variety of team games and very dynamic workshops, perfect for spending a day with the family or for children to celebrate a birthday with their friends.
Prepare your arms and your eyes, aiming is a matter of patience and skill and you have to show us that you are the best of all.
At Trek by Step we have taken it upon ourselves to take you to the most challenging rock walls in the province of Burgos, where we practice climbing of various levels of difficulty and in different places from the eastern area of Castilla y León.
Climbing in Burgos is a sport that is enjoyed even more for the total connection with nature. Wide fields with lots of vegetation that become the gateways to reach the north of Spain. With climbing routes 4 to 8 hours long, depending on the path chosen in each of the places, adventure sports take on another level in Trek by Step.
A climbing area is in Villaverde-Peñahorada, a town north of the capital of Burgos with a level of difficulty from III+ to 6b+, that is, a medium and high level in which to test your arms. and legs climbing the hard stone of Burgos. But we don't just arrive at this natural paradise.
La Piedra, in the Tozo region, is even further north, almost reaching Cantabria. Even more complicated than the previous one, its level V at 6a+ will demand the most from you near the Úrbel River.
And the third place of action for climbing is Garganchón, in the town of Pradoluengo. This is located on the way to the east, almost in La Rioja, and has a difficulty of III to 6c. Another natural wonder within the great province of Burgos.
Furthermore, these experiencescan be combined with other adventures, in case climbing falls short: caving, rappelling, archery... you can personalize a full day of sports in nature thanks to Trek by Step.

As an active tourism company, at Trek by Step we want to take advantage of all the means that nature offers us to practice adventure sports in incredible places. One of them is rafting, which we organize in various places in Alto Ebro in whitewater areas for group fun.
As we know that not everyone has the same level or the same age, there are several routes that vary according to difficulty and duration, because the Ebro is so great that it has sections for everything. Family rafting is a fantastic activity, and that is why we will go along the calm river with some more exciting and faster areas.
Although we also have rafting in exciting points of the Alto Ebro. With adventures lasting up to 6 hours, dare to overcome the strongest rapids of the river on routes totally isolated from civilization. Vegetation, fauna and adrenaline will be your traveling companions along the river.
The minimum group to participate is 4 people, and we will also give you a photo report of the entire experience for your personal memory, or to show off with your Instagram followers.
Consult information, we will be happy to answer you!

Winter gives way to adventure sports full of snow and spectacular landscapes, and at Trek by Step, with the operations center in Burgos, we offer snowshoeing routes of snowin several mountains of the Peninsula. We want to make active tourism become stronger and stronger in Castilla y León. The good thing about being the largest Autonomous Community is that there is a wide variety of places and experiences in many parts of each of its provinces.
Starting with ours, Burgos, we go to Pineda de la Sierra, in the Sierra de la Demanda, on a route lasting 3 to 6 hours and up to 12 kilometers long. Of medium-low difficulty, it is a perfect environment for an experience with family or friends, which does not require great fitness and is a way to discover the beauty of the province of Burgos.
But, be careful, there are many more adventures in Castilla y León... and more. In Salamanca we have the Sierra de Béjar, a wonderful mountain range in which we take up to 3 different routes: one, to the Circo de Becedas in Peña Negra, of medium difficulty; another in Cordal del Calvitero, of the same level, although technically simpler; and Canchal Negro, for beginners. The 3 Salamanca routes are at more than 2,000 meters high.
In Zamora, we go to Sanabria, to the mountains of Cabrera and La Segundera, until we reach the Laguna de los Peces. Surrounded by yews, oaks and hollies, we are lucky to see a roe deer grazing in the snow. It is of low difficulty and is located in a mountainous paradise in the western part of the Community.
And in two border areas with other Communities, we have the Alto Campoo in Cantabria. At a medium-high level, we will climb Cuchillón with snowshoes, which is the highest peak in the Peña Labra mountain range. From there we will see the Picos de Europa, the Palentina Mountain and the Merindades.
The other is in the Picos de Urbión, between Soria and La Rioja. It is a 3-day route in which we will travel about 23 kilometers in 10 and a half hours of travel. Full of birds of prey, we will pass through lagoons and hills until completing a snowshoe route of medium difficulty.
And finally, we also move beyond our borders. In contact with Madrid, we go to theSiete de Guadarramawith 3 routes: to Peñalara, to the mountains of Valsaín and to the Siete Picos, of medium and medium-high levels.
As in Urbión, in the Pyrenees we also organize 3-day excursions to the valleys of Ansó, Hecho and Aragüés, to cover a large part of the northern geography of Spain with snowshoes. p>
Given so much variety, it isIt is difficult to choose one, so ask us any questions that may arise, we will pull the strings so that you have the best experience with snowshoes once the season arrives.winter.
