Black Field? It sounds like a bad Western movie. Well, quite the opposite. It is the name of one of the formidable peaks found in the Sierra de Bejar and to which we will take you on this 3-hour snowshoe route.It is a simple outing that you can sign up for without needing experience.

The mountain instructor who will accompany you will be waiting for you at the Covatilla ski resort. He will be in charge of informing you about the itinerary and equipping you with snowshoes. Once you have everything clear, you will begin the journey.

The snowy landscape of this magnificent peak system will fascinate you. On the one hand the Sierra de Gredos and, crossing both mountain ranges, Aravalle and Jerte. You will not find a journey where the panoramic views are so splendid. A whole white sea at your feet.

You will summit the highest peak of the station, the Canchal Negro. From there you will descend towards the Circo de Becedas. The images are incredible. But for you to enjoy it without problems, you must come with waterproof clothing and footwear, sunglasses and a canteen with water.
