Get ready for a piece of snowshoe route through one of the most spectacular places in all of Portugal.

We will leave from the great tower that guards the highest point of Continental Portugal, located at more than 1990 meters of altitude, at the top of the Serra de Estrela Natural Park, in Castelo Branco district. We will take advantage of the winter seasons, when the snow has just fallen and in its best state, to undertake this route with snowshoes for 3 hours.

During the walk we will enjoy the snowy landscapes that the mountains offer during the winter months. We will go to places that under the white blanket become even more beautiful, such as the Piornos viewpoint or the snow-capped lakes that we will find along the way.
