Snowshoe route in Sierra Nevada with photos

Join one of our excursions through the winter-white landscapes that predominate in Sierra Nevada during winter. We will get to know them in more detail during a 2-hour route that we will do on foot but, to advance, we will use snowshoes which will make the walk an even more original and fun experience than traditional hiking outings.

It is a family activity for adults and children without establishing a specific minimum age. Due to the characteristics of the material, we simply need the participant to have at least a shoe size 37 to ensure that there are rackets that will adapt to them. If you come with minors, they must always go with someone of legal age.

We will meet on Saturday or Sunday before 11 am in the Plaza de Andalucía, where the Monachil building is located. We do not include the ski pass if you have to enter the Sierra Nevada ski resort, but you will not need it if we head to the surrounding forests for the excursion. Keep in mind that we do not set a fixed itinerary because we adapt it according to the weather of the day. If it were impossible to leave, even changing the route, we would simply modify the date of the route for safety.

We will bring an instructor who will act as a guide and will be in charge of giving us the appropriate explanations for walking while wearing snowshoes. It will tell us how to coordinate our steps with the movement of the canes that we will hold in our hands and will provide us with interesting data about the environment that we will see.

In addition, we will take some super fun photos of the entire route so you can see how good the winter settings in the mountains of Granada feel for you.
