Snowshoes and poles rental in Valdezcaray

On winter, the Sierra de la Demanda gets covered in snow and leaves us with views of the vicinity of its summits that can only be seen in the coldest season of the year. The white coating is no excuse for not visiting it on foot but you will need the appropriate equipment. That's why we rent the snowshoes and the poles that compose the whole equipment.

It's a rental for the whole day that allows you to walk on the snow, advancing to the top area of the mountain on clear days in which meteorology won't compromise the safety of the group. We advise you pick them up first thing in the morning to seize the daylight hours. We can give you the equipment between 9 and 10 in the morning.

As for shoes, any kind of sporty boots will fit the snowshoes. If you are not used to this kind of outings, we advise you limit the expedition until past noon, returning the equipment at 14:00. In case you're physically prepared, you can keep the equipment until 17:00. We don't recommend extending the route much more than that since it will start to get dark and the safety conditions will be notably lower.
