It will be a simple route of about 2 or 3 hours, where you will be able to appreciate the wonders of the town of Villamanín, a small municipality in the province of León stands out for its landscapes and wonderful routes to do on snowshoes when winter sets in. The route has a slight slope, which will take you closer to the base of Pico Fontún in the Alto Bernesga Biosphere Reserve.

You will walk with snowshoes through the beautiful limestone mountain covered by eternal blankets of snow and you will contemplate the beautiful views of the Valles de la Tercia and Arbas. In the distance you can see the majestic Picos de Europa and you will reach Pico Machamedio where you can breathe fresh air and relax in the white snow that covers the mountains.
