Guadarrama snowshoe crossing and 2 nights in refuge

If you love visiting the mountain, specially during winter, this activity package will fit you like a glove. You will be abel to explore the mountains of Sierra de Guadarrama with snowshoes during an entire weekend. 

On day 1 of your arrival, you will meet with your future guide, and relax afterwards in the mountain refuge Cantina de Cotos, where you will enjoy of a half board stay in this accommodation. 

On day 2 of our exoperience, you will make an early morning to then embark on your first snowshoes trip of the whole stay. We will hike up to Alto de Guarramillas, which is commonly known as Bola del Mundo, located at 2,262 meters high. You will be able to take some great pictures of Peñalara mountain there. Both the ascent and the descent of the mountain will be made across the Noruego hillock. 

It will be a 10 km hike in total. On our way back you will some free time to do whatever you want for the rest of the day, before you go back to the mountain refuge to spend the night there. 

We will have prepared fonr day 3 another snowshoes trip, this time to lake Laguna Grande de Pañalara, which will be at the opposite side of the valley you had crossed the day before. This will be a 6 km trip. 

For this adventure, you will have to bring your mountain clothes, sun protection, sunglasses, and some food and drink to do a picnic on the way of the trip. 

You will need tio be in good shape and health in order to endure the long hikes.
