Snowshoeing and igloo building in Navacerrada

When winter arrives, the Sierra de Guadarrama National Park becomes an extensive blanket of snow. We propose a plan: snowshoe route and build an igloo in its snowy valleys for half a day. Family plan? This is the one that will have the most fun for you this winter season.

The first thing you will have to do is choose the day of departure, which could be Saturday or Sunday. Once you decide this, you will meet at the Puerto de Navacerrada with the guide who will accompany you and your group (minimum 4 people) on a snowshoe journey of about 6 kilometers.

With a snowshoe on your feet, poles and the appropriate clothing, you will begin a walk through the area of Los Tres Cogorros. Due to its location and quality of the snow, it will be the point where we will make a stop. to teach the group how to build an igloo. Fathers, mothers and little ones will have a great time!

The monitor will play games for the children during the route and thus make the route more enjoyable and entertaining. Parents should keep in mind that it is a snow activity, so clothing must adapt to these circumstances.
