Description of Snowshoeing and picnic in Puerto de Navafría
We invite you to take a guided route with snowshoes in the Port of Navafría. You will enjoy the Sierra Norte de Madrid, its surroundings and its landscape.
Thanks to snowshoes, you will be able to walk with total ease through the white blanket, without sinking, otherwise it would not be possible to carry out this hiking activity through the snow.
Are you still thinking about it? You will meet more people and have a fantastic day. What more could you ask for? Well yes, you can ask for more. We will include a delicious picnic.
Don't hesitate and come with us to enjoy! The outings are carried out in small groups of maximum 12 people, always guided by our instructor.
* Departures on Saturdays and Sundays in shifts at 8am, 11am and 3pm.
The best shift is at 3:00 p.m., since at midday there are many people who are already going to eat.
For the 8am shift we recommend arriving at 7:30am at the latest to park.
The 11am shift will only take place if the 8am shift is full, and only for groups that get on by bus or have someone take them, since it is impossible to park in a private car.
* The minimum age to carry out the activity is 12 years old and be at least 27 years old.
** Animals are not allowed on the route.
***Prior reservation required at least 48 hours in advance.
**** Activity subject to changes due to meteorological factors and/or lack of snow. In the event that the activity is suspended due to weather problems, it will be changed to another day.
***** If on the day of the activity there is not enough snow to carry out the snowshoe route, it will be replaced by Nordic walking + picnic.

The duration of the activity is 2 and a half hours.
