Description of Snowshoeing in Guadarrama National Park
On the way, our mountain guide (qualified by the Mountain School of Madrid TD2 level) will tell you different anecdotes of the area.
Minimum age is 10 years (minimum shoe size of 2).
Once we finish we will have a soup or a hot chocolate, (depending on availability) to get warm while we tell stories about the tour.

*Transportation service from Las Tablas or another place of Madrid to be agreed for an extra charge.
**You can book individual trips, but for the snowshoes tour we will need to make groups of minimum 4 people.
- Qualified Mountain guide (TD2) with plenty of experience.
- 4 hours route, more or less.
- Snowshoes and poles rent.
- Civil liability insurance and accident insurance.
- A chance to book transportation service from Madrid.

Once equipped and received the instruction, the route has a duration of 2 hours, depending on the pace and level of the group.

Concerning our opinion of the activity, the feeling in general was acceptable because none we had tried it before and it was something novel.
However, if we believe that it has been rather looser than we expected. We hired an average level of about 4 hours and the feeling was that there were too many stops, Much less than 4 hours even with the stops (in the activity I do not think it lasted more than an hour and a half - two hours).
I think that if we had done the activity on our own, at least we would have done the same thing therefore I have not seen much use to take a guideline.
