Ganadería Las Bellotas

The Ganadería Las Bellotas has been raising Andalusian donkeys since 1998.

This company is run by a married couple who have dedicated a large part of their lives to fighting for the conservation of the Andalusian donkey , a formidable animal that today is in danger of extinction.

Therefore, our routes are informative . We try to make all our visitors aware of this danger and do what is in their power to prevent this extraordinary animal from disappearing.

We have a large number of burritos , most of which have been named after wild, native plants. Despite our efforts, we have had to give away some copies, as we cannot cover the maintenance costs of all the animals, since the aid we receive is rather scarce.

In our fight to save the Andalusian donkey , we have taken part in the founding of the Union of Cattlemen of the Great Andalusian Asnal Breed.

We can offer you several donkey routes :

• Monchil river valley route or Bandoleros route, 3 hours, easy level.
• Route of the Cerro de la Encina, 1h 30 min, medium level.
• Route through the town, sunny or shady, 1 hour, easy.
• Special full moon route, for lovers, 3 hours.

In addition, we have an important asnotherapy program , in which we use the benefits of contact with donkeys, in inmates of the Albolote prison psychiatric center, with very positive results.

We can also organize a bachelor party different, thematic, very fun.
