Guingueta - Espot is a society of fishermen with many years of experience in this sport, which has its headquarters located in the town of La Gingueta d'Aneu.

This town is located in a high mountain region, on the southern slope of the Axial Pyrenees, bordering France, it is located in the valley of the Noguera Pallaresa river, which runs through it from north to south, and is characterized by its head valleys dominated by by very high peaks:

• Tuc de Colomers (2,930 m),

• Pico de Sotllo (3,073 m)

• Pica d’Estats (3,143 m), the highest peak in Catalonia

• Tuc de Saboredo (2,830 m),

• Mont-roig (2,846 m),

In the center of the southern sector of this region we find the well-known town of Sort, capital of the region.

The region also includes the eastern sector of the Aigüestortes National Park and the Sant Maurici Lake, dominated by the unmistakable silhouette of Els Encantats. We are extremely lucky to find ourselves in an impressive landscape where the cultural and the natural are confused, with very spectacular and unique elements.
