Canyoning in Lleida offers us a wide variety of options, thanks to the location of this province that has ravines between the Catalan Pyrenees and the inside parte known as Pre Pyrenees.

What are the different levels for canyoning in Huesca?

- Initiatory ravines in Lleida: a great form to start in the canyons descent is in Berrós, is so easy that can be covered with the family with kids if these are older than 12 years, even though that requirement can change depending on the little one’s abilities. It has cliffs that start from 4 meters and 10 natural slides. It will take you 2 hours and a half to complete the adventure.

Other easy option for the new canyoners, but with some skill level, is the Sant Pere ravine. We found it next to the location of Sort in the part of Congost de Collegats. We will, for 20 minutes, go up to the trail that gives us access to the river’s ravine. With an approximate duration of 3 to 4 hours, we will jump into ponds, pass short rappels and move among natural and rocky slides.

If you travel to L´Anoia, you will find the Riera del Carme ravine, also perfect for groups with adults and minors without experience. Is an activity with an approximate duration of 3 hours.

- Medium-difficulty ravines in Lleida: To enjoy a more technical canyoneering route, book a space for the Erta ravine in the area of Pont de Suert. It’s main characteristic is that is a complete aquatic ravine, where the natural slides predominate. An approximate duration of 40 minutes is needed, the first part of a 2-hours-and-half activity. You will find an 8-meters cliff.

Les Espones ravine goes under a medium-difficulty level, sometimes high level. If you dare to try this descend of ravines in Senterada, you will find cliffs that reaches 15-meters and jump from a height of 6 meters that end in the water. The best moment to visit this one is during Summer, because the waters of the river are normally cold.

- High-difficulty level canyoning in Lleida: The experts on ravine descend techniques have a lot of opportunities to practice this favourite sport in places like the Infierno ravine in Collegats. This trail in the river includes an interesting combination for the canyoners with Estaron, in Pallars Sobirà, and Espones in La Vall Fosca. We need 4 hours to reach the maximum point of the 160-meters ravine. The most spectacular ravine of Infierno has 18 meters, starting from a cave.

The Viu de Llevata ravine, available from March up to October, is the other imprescindible one to canyoning fans that can pass half a day in it. It's high difficulty is because is a long route and in it and there are obligatory jumps.

The Pallars region, approaching Tremps, the Gurp ravine is, which has the longest rappel, it has 18- meters of length and maintains the same water flow all year around.
