Tim Aventura is a company dedicated to sports and adventure sports activities in the Pyrenean valley that traces the river course of the Noguera Pallaresa river. We have our center in El Pont de Suert and from there we carry out activities nearby, both in the waters of the river and in the ravines and nearby roads.

All the activities we carry out are monitored by our Noguera Aventura team, who will provide you with the sports materials and accessories you need so that you can carry yourself with the best guarantees of safety and comfort without you having to worry about it.

Tim Aventura wants to offer you a fantastic activity. The Noguera Pallaresa is one of the most interesting rivers to go down by canoe. Its rapid mountain waters take us at high speed between all types of obstacles. We teach downhill courses with which you can strengthen your knowledge of canoeing while having unparalleled fun.

The section of the Noguera Pallaresa that we travel includes 11 kilometers through the Montanui-Escales area that will present us with different challenges while we complete it aboard our boats.

You can do two types of courses with us: The initiation course with which you can get into a canoe for the first time and begin to know the sensations of going down a whitewater river. . And the improvement one, more designed for those who want to increase their skill.

You will be equipped with a paddle, a life jacket and a waterproof container with food to regain strength after completing the descent.

The months that coincide with spring and autumn are usually the best to descend this river. The thaw and abundant rainfall create an unbeatable flow.

Do you want to know what we have prepared for you at Tim Aventura? The Eskimos were the inventors of the kayak, with which they fished in the rivers. Now we take his invention and use it to undertake dizzying descents through the waters of the Noguera Pallaresa River, in the Catalan high Pyrenees.

It is a very fine and light boat suitable for crossing turbulent waters and obstacles such as jumps, rapids and avoiding stones. To steer the kayak we use a paddle that has a paddle at each end.

We will go down the Noguera Pallaresa for about 2 or 3 hours, thus covering approximately 11 kilometers in which we will use the different techniques that the instructors will have indicated to us before departure. All of them will be acceptable even if we are not high-level kayakers since they will be in charge of consulting us about our preparation when we arrive at the activity center.

You will be able to learn the secrets of kayak navigation through white water with initiation courses if you are just starting out or advanced courses if you already know what this is about.

We go down all year round, although spring and autumn are the best seasons to descend the river with a high enough flow.

At Tim Aventura we suggest that you take an approach to canyoning in canyons with the best conditions for them such as those of Obarra or Riu Blanc . These alternatives present our view with spectacular landscapes between the mountains but present small approach sections and obstacles that can be accepted by the majority of the public.

For your canyoning day you will follow the steps that our instructors will show you. They are in charge of explaining to you as you go how to overcome each point of the ravine. They will also be in charge of checking the materials and security systems that you will carry both together and individually.

You can approach our facilities in your own vehicle as you will leave it comfortably parked in the parking lot that we make available exclusively to our visitors. Get in the car, and then take it with you during the activity, cream to prevent sunburn, a swimsuit to wear under the wetsuit, a towel to dry off when we leave the riverbed, and shoes that you can change.

Descend a ravine with Tim Aventura!

Tim Aventura has an exceptional proposal for you. Enjoy with all your friends a whitewater descent through the Noguera Ribagorçana, one of the best rivers in Spain for rafting. Up in inflatable boats you will not stop moving inside the boat fighting for its stability in the river bed.

For 3 hours and 11 kilometers we descended the Noguera Pallaresa without time to blink. Some hooks inside the boat will allow you to hold on firmly and place your feet so that, no matter how much it moves, you will be able to stay inside without problem.

The use of the oar will be essential to guide the boat and avoid the rocky elements that you will encounter during the journey.

A guide will go aboard the boat to give precise instructions on what all members of the group should do. That way you will feel completely covered by his professionalism. He knows exactly what needs to be done.

Each boat has a capacity of 9 people maximum so that you can share the activity.

We can include a menu in the rafting day and the practice of another adventure sport such as canyoning.

At Tim Aventura one of the ways we like to take advantage of the winter the most is by going out to ride our snowmobiles. Try them too along the Lérida Pyrenees and experience all the possibilities that the coldest time of the year gives us. Here is the only thing you need to know for it:

• We depart from our base on excursions to which we dedicate a minimum of a quarter of an hour. You also have them available in 30-minute intervals that allow us to be in contact with these vehicles for twice as long.
• You will get into two-seater vehicles and, to go as a pilot, you will have to have a driving license and, logically, be of legal age. Do not stay on the ground if you are not yet 18 because you can always go as a passenger.
• After explaining the precautions to take into account and the procedures for controlling the controls, we will begin the adventure along slopes and paths covered by a frosty white blanket. In some sections, and depending on the level of the group, we will be able to gain some speed to feel the power of the motorcycles.

Tim Aventura brings you one of the best winter activities. We travel the snowy paths around the Boí Taüll ski resort in winter equipped with snowshoes. An invention used for a long time by the locals of these mountain areas and that allows hiking when the snow covers everything.

The excursions last 1 hour and a half and take place in several places near the ski resort, very close to the Aigüestortes i l’Estany de Sant Maurici National Park.

The routes can be done by the whole family, the use of snowshoes is very comfortable, as they prevent us from sinking in the snow that can be several meters thick. Furthermore, before embarking on the expedition, you will be told how you should use them to travel comfortably throughout the journey that we will do next.

A guide will accompany us throughout the journey along the paths and will explain interesting facts about the elements we see, both natural, architectural and cultural.

Combine the snowshoe excursion with snowmobile and sleigh rides as well as the organization of barbecues.

Tim Aventura through routes of different levels of difficulty, offers you the possibility of getting to know the Vall de Boi area and others in the Ilerd Pyrenees. These are some of the proposals that we prepare for you:

• Aigüestortes National Park: Half-day interpretive routes.

• Aneto/Maladeta Natural Park - Posets: Half-day and full-day routes.

• High mountain hiking: we will spend half or the full day, always accompanied by a guide to reach the peaks that we have set as our objective.

• Romanesque Route: itineraries that we will do following a route marked by the churches of the Vall de Boi that have been declared a World Heritage Site.
