Being a UNESCO heritage site and a symbol in all its letters, Casa Batlló opens its doors to reveal an authentic architectural jewel. A work of art that, over the years, has greatly increased in beauty and has left a museum in the heart ofthe center of Barcelona.
Casa Batlló has a lot of history. The original architectural work of Emilio Sala was only the basis on which the famous artist Antoni Gaudí demonstrated his great astuteness and admiration for art. The architect, representing the modernist movement and with full freedom from the Batlló family, carried out a complete renovation of the facade, interiors and patios >. The result? A work of art without any precedent.
Over the years, the house passed to the Bernat family, they also remodeled its interior in the decade of the 90s, to finally open its doors to the public with the intention of giving know so much beauty, and being part of one of the World Heritage jewels by UNESCO, since 2005.
In this way, Casa Batlló will give you the opportunity to enter an interior of pure beauty, with features typical of Catalan modernism, with a different style. The immersion in this space will be optimal, always being able to choose between two types of experience, one of them much more standard with which you will tour the interior and you will enter a 360º cube, being a work by the artist Refik Andol in which you delve into the mind of Gaudí.
And if you opt for a much more complete experience, you can choose the advanced entrance with quick access, you will not only walk through the rooms of the House Batlló, but they will have a much more immersive experience with exhibitions that support this idea, access to the Batllós' private home and much more.
