With Arqueoroutes it won't take you long to realize that it is not only possible to travel through the environment, but also through time. We have focused our different routes on nature on all those paths that reveal archaeological clues that tell us how history has passed and transformed the landscape until reaching our days.
We suggest you walk, or get into our 4x4, to follow the paths that are thousands, even millions of years old in their journeys. Some of them are:
- The Algarbes Necropolis: they are located in Tarifa and getting to them is not difficult at all, which is why it is ideal for children to accompany you. It is no more than 120 minutes of adventure to reach an impressive site that tells us about the change in funerary uses.
- Laja Alta: a walk that runs from Jimena de la Frontera to Cadiz. Although it will require our effort to reach its caves due to its difficulty, above average, it will compensate us to know its cave paintings and the views that remain at its feet.
- Las Orillas de Hércules: lacking in difficulty, it will take us the entire day, so we will do it in our all-terrain vehicles. It is close to Algeciras and allows us to witness the confluence of two continents in an amazing vision.
