Depateo

Depateo is a company focused on the enjoyment of nature on the island of Gran Canaria. We organize hiking routes in all areas of the island and offer several adventure alternatives to tourists, groups, companies and schools.

We offer two routes, of different difficulty:

• Arco del Coronadero: Journey lasting about six hours at a low pace. The surface consists of a dirt track, ravine, trail and cross country. Throughout the tour you will be able to enjoy the semi-desert and rocky landscape of the south of the island, as well as its fauna and flora, of which the cardón is a beautiful and impressive example. The views are spectacular once the arch has been crowned. Not only because of the magnitude and beauty of the arch itself but also because of impressive views of the Hondo ravine.

• Magnificent excursion suitable only for mountaineers with some experience. It is essential to be in good physical shape. After traveling by bus to the starting point (1,983 m altitude) we will descend along a path that runs along a ridge in a S-SW direction. Imposing ravines will open up to our left and to the right (N-NW) we will be able to enjoy magnificent views towards Roque Nublo.
