Go Horse

Go Horse was put into operation in 2019 taking advantage of a huge extension of land made up of 50 hectares, which equivalent to a whopping 50 football fields. We are located in the municipality of Barcelos, in the Braga district, in the north of Portugal, where the concern for animals has been perceived since the legend associated with the city.

The story goes that "o galo de Barcelos", the famous symbol of the city, is due to the fact that during a banquet, a rich man accused a pilgrim of having stolen his silver cutlery , the latter being accused before the judge. When he was about to be executed, the defendant proclaimed that if he was innocent a rooster would crow up to three times, a fact that happened.

But beyond the fervor for the Barcelos rooster, at Go Horse, as its name suggests, we want to convey to our clients the passion that, From a very young age, we felt for horses. This is the real reason, and no other, why we decided to open our equestrian center.

However, our privileged location, which, as we mentioned at the beginning, offers us an unprecedented landscape, gives us the possibility of pleasant horseback riding where a relaxed and oblivious to daily worries. This reality makes it the ideal place to enjoy a day in nature.

Likewise, our offer does not end only with horseback riding around the farm, we offer multiple activities and services, all of them related to the horse riding and equestrian practice. We have a range of proposals that will delight any user, both riders and experienced riders as well as beginners.

This project has not stopped advancing by leaps and bounds since it began a few years ago. In this way, we have a team of highly qualified professionals who teach classes to learn to ride horses, we offer dressage and jumping shows or training that prepares for competitions.
