Tips if you are going to do Karting in Madrid

If you want to enjoy a driving experience in Madrid, a fun, exciting one and doesn't require a driving license, with a karting you can do it. This is the region with more circuits all over Spain and with this guide, we will help you to choose the karts race track you like the most in Madrid.

Where you can drive a kart in Madrid?


In the Community in Madrid, you can choose between more than 20 indoor and outdoor centers. Rivas Vaciamadrid, Santos de la Humosa, San Fernando de Henares, Pedrezuela, Madrid, Arganda del Rey or Las Rozas are some of the best zones to enjoy karting. This is an activity suitable for kids and adults, even though the minimum age to do it autonomously is 7 years, for the youngest (from 3 to 7 years), can go next to there parents with a two-seater kart. The adult will be the one who drives the karting whilst the little one has a great time.

You will feel the excitement to feel like an authentic pilot for a day, you can speed up, stop or exit the curves because the fun times have the same importance than safety… guaranteed!

The activity can be done individually or in groups. If you want to enjoy a karting session and you don’t have a numerous group or is only you, you will need to choose one or several laps. The laps can have a duration of 8 or 10 minutes, and for that time, you will need to carry out laps in the circuit, trying to do the most and get to improve your timing round after round.

If you are in a group, you have the option to carry out races or grand prizes, where you can compete and compare with the rest of your friends. We will start with a recognition lap to meet the race track, and then, after several laps or a determined time, we will need to try to make the best timing to get a good position in the starting grid. Depending on your group, we will arrange in the start line and in 3, 2, 1....0 the race starts. Now, there is no time for errors since after each round, we will be taking the time, and the best one will get the victory. There will be a celebration for the first 3 positions with a podium, and of course, we will hand out trophies.

As you see, is the perfect activity for celebrations, birthdays, team buildings, bachelor parties or to simply enjoy with friends, because to have a great time with them, there is no excuse.

These are the 2 circuits in Madrid as references:

- Santos de la Humosa: Here, you will find 2 circuits, the big or “competition” circuits, that has a length of 1.100 meters, one of the biggest in Madrid. The circuit has a total of 9 curves, 5 rights and 4 lefts, which makes everything more fun and exciting. The small circuit is designed especially for the minors and has 500 meters in length. The youngest, from 3 to 6 tears, can board the two-seater kart and the ones from the age of 7 to 13 can ride a 160 hp one-seater.

You can enjoy karting races and grand prizes for kids and adults. There are special packs for birthdays for the youngsters and packs for adult’s celebrations or company’s incentives, where adding to a karting race, you can include a BBQ, open bar and other activities like laser tag, paintball or gymkhanas.

- Rivas Vaciamadrid: If you want to enjoy a karting lap or race, near Madrid, we recommend the circuit of Rivas. If you book the packs that include 2 or 3 laps, you can enjoy 2 circuits that have facilities and try two routes.

The staff there are specialists in birthday celebrations, with options for the youngsters from the ages of 7 to 13 years, and for those teens with 14 to 18 years. There are race options that mean that you combine them with a BBQ and an open bar to make the experience even more special.
