The Gran Capitán camp is a military civic program for participants between 11 and 21 years old that takes place in Navacerrada . Through it we intend that boys and girls have their first contact with the routines that follow both the Armed Forces and other security forces. They will learn some of their main tasks with special attention to physical training and the work of their personal abilities.
Enrollees will be housed in a farm with all the necessary interior equipment and large exteriors with swimming pool for the development of activities. They will rest every night in the bunk beds of their rooms, they can wash themselves in their showers differentiated by sexes and use the collective facilities to eat or participate in the workshops that will be organized.
In addition to the accommodation in full board , with the corresponding insurance for the stay, we will deliver the garments that will form the camper's daily wardrobe to follow the uniformity of the program. When it is finished they can take it home in the suitcase.
The shifts that are available are:
-One week: from July 18 to 24 or July 25 to 31.
-From 15 days: from August 1 to 15.
-Three weeks: from July 25 to August 15.
Among the activities that attendees will share in the military camp are:
- Lessons of first aid with practical part. The quality of the knowledge imparted is such that the kids can obtain a diploma recognizing what they have learned.
- Education in accordance with military and civic values by promoting appropriate behaviors individually and with respect to other classmates.
- Practical learning of survival techniques , how to patrol or march outdoors taking advantage of the environment.
Also during the camp we will receive several veterans who will enrich the programming with their wisdom.
