How to get there?
Distance to Lleida by the Madrid-Barcelona highway (465 km from Madrid and 156 km from Barcelona). Most recommended exit from Madrid by the toll motorway: exit Soses / Alcarrás and continue on the N-II highway that surrounds Lleida to the north - not the road that leads to these two towns, continuing towards Barcelona on the N-II , take the regional road to Seo de Urgel on the left. C-13 -the one that goes to AndorraA about 21 kms to the left is the junction to Balaguer; continue on the N-II and about 4 km. approx. take the detour to Tremp (through Camarasa) on the same C-13. (The one that continues in front of Seo is the C-26) You have to leave Cellers, Tremp and the Talarn reservoir behind. Upon reaching Pobla de Segur, at a roundabout cross the N-260 (transpirinaica). Do not take it straight ahead, which is towards Senterada- Pont de Suert, turn right towards Sort (you have to cross the town center). Gerri, Sort; in this town you have to leave the N-260 that continues to the right towards the Port del Cantó crossing the Noguera river. Continue straight ahead on the C-13. Rialp and Llavorsí, (when passing through this last town you will see to the right of the river the base of the adventure sports that we use). You continue on your way. After Escaló - 3 km. to the left- you leave the Espot junction; (Here is the entrance to the National Park). You have to continue straight ahead. The detour that you definitely have to take to get to the People's Trekking Base is 1 km. before reaching Esterri D’Aneu you have to take a racket and turn right; Continue along the entrance road to the town, and on the left, after a gas station, at the height of the La Presalla campsite, take a paved road between the campsite and the road. Follow the directions. Newcomers must go through the reception to fill out the entry form and indicate the accommodation.
