Finding a company with the basic infrastructure that allows you to do an adventure activity is not always easy. However, at Aguazul Active Tourism we have our own hostel in Guardo, in the interior of the province of Palencia. With that, we have the necessary spaces to start any discipline, having an important support in terms of accommodation and classrooms to develop courses of different modalities.

- Our facilities : are perfect for groups because they have a total of 5 rooms and each of them can sleep up to 10 people at the same time. In addition, the lockers have a key to safely store personal items.

- Services for those who visit us : although we are in a place that invites you to disconnect, you will only be isolated if you decide to because here you have wifi and a comfortable room to watch TV. You can also wash your luggage and leave it ready in the dryer. If you need sheets or towels, we rent them for you.

- What can you do here? : participate in any of our youth camps, if you are between 12 and 16 years old, or enroll in courses initiation to extreme sports, such as canyoning, which is our protagonist in the month of September 2016.

Aguazul Active Tourism is not going to be your guide to explore the ravines of the Fuentes Carrionas Natural Park. We do not put limits on you and what we will do instead is teach you how to descend a canyon, we will also do it from scratch so you can register right now.
Our course takes place on the weekends of the middle of September, so that you can reconcile it with your usual tasks from Monday to Friday. We will see each other on the 10th and 11th and the days of the 17th and 18th.

- What will we lend you ?: things that you usually do not have at home such as neoprene and all the technical material. Full board stay is also covered.

- What do you have to bring ?: Come with your computer and a notebook to write down since we will start with the theoretical concepts that will come in handy to go to the river later.

- What do we want to achieve ?: an autonomous student as far as level 1 is concerned. You can progress only in canyons that are not complex but, for safety, always go with someone who knows more than you.

At the end of this program, you will also have some ideas about first aid, very useful in case you have to face some dangerous circumstance in the future.

At Aguazul Active Tourism we take care of the management of the Cara Norte Lodge, a circumstance that we take advantage of to organize adventure activity camps. In our case, they are intended for participants who have reached 12 years of age and do not exceed 16.

We will be available to them in the month of August, in a first shift from the 1st to the 11th, and in a second program that begins on the 15th and runs until the 25th.

- The stay : as we anticipated, in our hostel close to 60 places, renovated so that the boys and girls have what they will need for the stay, from bedrooms with bunk beds, to the interior common areas and exteriors.

- The activities : before starting our adventure we have carefully studied what we will do each of the 11 days that we will share. We get up at 9 am to have 60 minutes for breakfast that will prepare us for the main activity of the day. They will be sports such as climbing, hiking and speleo.

In the afternoon the games are somewhat lighter and we also leave time for the pool. At 10 p.m. we will close each day in a special way. On the last day each of you will receive a CD containing photos of everything we have done.

Having the possibility of entering the underground environment is not available to everyone. Aguazul Active Tourism offers you that possibility, putting at your disposal the best material and human resources so that you can enjoy without worrying about doing your adventurer dreams.

Crossing Valporquero-Covona

The flagship of underground activities is undoubtedly the visit to the Valporquero cave watercourse. It is a journey of more than 3 kilometers long, where emotions are more than assured. The entrance is made through the Valporquero cave, traveling part of its tourist section, which will be abandoned at a mandatory point to descend to the watercourse.

Rappels, slides, deep vadines with transparent waters, beautiful meanders and spaces richly decorated by nature await you. A true natural aqua park in a unique environment, we will continue downstream until we exit through Covona.

But the adventure does not end here, we must continue descending to the bed of the Torio River, through the ravine formed by the Covona upwelling. In short, a totally recommended activity for lovers of new and exciting adventures.

Aguazul Active Tourism offers you its mountain climbing activities in Palencia . Authentic adventures that will make you enjoy like a real mountaineer.

The best option to enter the world of mountaineering is to sign up for one of its two-day courses. Whether you have experience or you have never climbed, you will never be able to enjoy this intensive course. Something that is essential is to be in good physical shape.

During the course you will learn from the basics to more technical maneuvers, and other knowledge that is essential to start practicing climbing. When you gain some confidence you will start with the progression maneuvers.

The material will be provided by the Aguazul Active Tourism team, but you must bring your Crampons, ice ax, helmet and appropriate clothing and footwear for the activity.

In addition, you will stay those days at the Cara Norte Lodge and that will include the maintenance and pension of each of the participants during those two days.

Try mountaineering with Aguazul Active Tourism in Palencia!

Aguazul Active Tourism wants you to enjoy the snow to the fullest this winter. For this he has designed a plan that you will not be able to resist. It is about spending two days in Palencia enjoying backcountry skiing and with accommodation included. Do you feel like it?

Cross-country skiing has nothing to do with the ski you have tried, forget about your nerves when jumping down a slope, forget about taking chair lifts and crowds. It is a calm and affordable sport for everyone and even financially.

You will ascend a peak and descend it on an excursion through different areas, bordering forests and along snow and ice tracks in some sections.

In two days, the duration of the course, you will get to know this sport in depth and learn some progression maneuvers as well as the technical and theoretical knowledge that will allow you, once the course is finished, to do any route.

Here the experience does not matter, what counts is the desire and that you know how to ski and some physical form. If you have your own material you can bring it, if you prefer Aguazul Active Tourism will provide it to you. It is mandatory to bring a thirty-five liter backpack in terms of capacity.

In the accommodation you will rest one night with half board.
