At ActivateNCabañeros we organize all kinds of activities to do in the Cabañeros National Park and in the Cijara Reserve. We want to make users aware of the wonders hidden in these two typical natural parks of the Peninsula and that they enjoy a complete day in the field.

Our activities are, among others:

- Hiking: we have different routes in order to cover all of both parks. Choose which part of one of the two parks you want to see at that moment and we will advise you which route is the most suitable for you.

- Ornithology: In Cabañeros there are a large number of poultry species, come and enjoy them with us and learn a little more about them with our qualified guide.

- Orientation: our survival days are designed to teach participants to survive in the field in the face of the most unusual situations. These can last more than 1 day.

- Bicycle routes: discover Spanish nature while doing one of the most beneficial sports for the human body.

- 4x4 Tours, Photographic Safari: learn about the fauna and flora of Cabañeros and keep a whole set of photos so you never forget your visit.

At Activatencabañeros we consider that it is very important to spread such a healthy and beneficial sport that is also carried out in a quiet natural environment. Therefore we have decided to organize different mountain bike routes so that, in addition to practicing this activity, you can visit different areas of the Cabañeros Natural Park.

If you consider yourself an adventurer and you are passionate about discovering new details and secrets about the Iberian fauna and flora, don't think twice. Our bicycle routes will provide you with the enjoyment and entertainment you are looking for.

We also visit the Cijara Reserve , a place that will leave you speechless due to its impressive landscapes.

During these routes you will be guided by an expert monitor in both places in addition to being accompanied by a car with which we make sure to solve any inconvenience that may arise.

The best way to get to know a terrain is also the simplest way: walking. In this way you can stop to contemplate every nook and cranny that the place offers you, carefully examine its landscapes and analyze its flora and fauna.

The Cabañeros National Park is known for its beautiful landscapes and for having a great number of protected exotic varieties such as the golden eagle or the black vulture, which are not seen in other areas of Spain. It is also to admire the beauty of the mammalian fauna such as the foxes that are in it or the deer.

These routes would be carried out by the hand of an expert monitor who would explain all the curiosities and anecdotes that surround the Cabañeros Natural Park , as well as its history and evolution. We have a wide variety of itineraries, thus meeting the different needs and desires of users, as well as their different levels of hiking.

Some of the routes are simpler and others more arduous. Of course, before doing them, that information will be given to the participant so that they can choose the one that is most appropriate for them.

One of the activities that we offer is to do a Photographic Safari in a 4x4. We have three different routes to be chosen by the participants to carry out this excursion. The extension of the park has more than 100 kilometers , therefore it is impossible to see it in full with a single visit. That is why we have divided the safari by routes. Thus, the user will choose which route is the one that interests him the most to see at that moment.

Our specialized guides will lead the visit in a 4x4 and will explain different details about the evolution and care of this national park, which is home to a great variety of animals that are not seen in other areas of Spain.

If you love the countryside and would like to know how to move around it with total freedom and without fear of getting lost, our “Survival” orientation days are made for you.

We will organize trips to the Cabañeros National Park with the aim of learning to orient oneself and to survive in the face of any adversity in the middle of nature.

The survival team will be accompanied by a professional guide who will give them different guidelines related to this topic:

- What to bring in your backpack: the monitor will explain to you which are the most important objects to put in a backpack when going to the field, avoiding the weight of others that are not going to be of any use.

- Portabilization of water: in the case of being lost, it is very important to know how to ration water for as long as possible.

- Shelters: we will learn how to create one and how to find the existing ones.

- Edible plants: differentiation between plants that will be harmful to our body and those that we can eat if we run out of food.

- Traps: in the event that the lost time lasts more than one day.

- Climbing and descents: It is very important to learn to climb and descend from a mountain in the case of being lost so that nothing prevents us from moving forward.

- Orientation with topographic map and compass: key tools to be able to orient oneself.

We give the possibility of carrying out these complete survival days for more than one day. In that case, participants will need to bring a tent and other materials for it.

At ActivatenCabañeros we organize outings to examine and observe the great variety of bird species found in the Cabañeros Natural Park. This place is inhabited by a large number of different birds that we can observe with precision thanks to the fact that we will provide you with binoculars and a terrestrial telescope to be able to contemplate them from close up.

We will be accompanied at all times by a guide who will tell us curiosities about the life habits of each species and details about its evolution and its relationship with those of the same species and with those of another.
