In the Erjos Visitor Center we have taken care to know every detail of the valley and the Teno Rural Park to take you through its most outstanding points when you come to the island of Tenerife.
This environment gives us the possibility of practicing various sports, from climbing to kayaking, going through diving and complete stays in our multi-adventure camps. Among all of them we recommend hiking or mountain bike tours since both disciplines are the ones that will allow us to reach the most inaccessible places in the park where we can contemplate the real scope of the development of its natural species.
Among the most important aspects of the area:
- The park reaches a wide area with slopes of up to 600 meters above sea level, thanks to which we can obtain a complete view of the entire island .
- It has a great biodiversity and due to its conditions and the protection it offers, it serves as a refuge for some of the rarest species in the Canary Islands, especially types of pigeons and reptiles.
- It offers us the opportunity to get closer to the traditional customs of Tenerife throughout its hamlets and small urban centers increasingly depopulated in favor of civilization.

The Erjos Visitor Center will become one of the must-see appointments on your next trip to the island of Tenerife. Among us you will find the best professionals to guide you on your BTT route through the landscapes that make up the wonderful Teno Rural Park.
This valley and the protected area in which it is located, is considered one of the points of greatest interest within the Canarian Community due to its natural value. To get to know it in depth, one of the best means is the mountain bike since it allows us to get close to almost any of its corners in a comfortable and fun way with a zero impact on the environment.
In addition to enjoying the excursion on the bicycle by itself, we will be surprised by the infinity of species of trees, shrubs and plants that will accompany us on our way. This environment serves as a habitat for many of the island's protected species, especially birds, which can thrive in this location thanks to the environment that the confluence of the sea and the mountains have created over time.
At the Erjos Visitor Center we welcome you every day of the week, from 9:00 a.m., to guide you through the most beautiful trails in Tenerife Parque Rural de Teno .
For each of our outings we will form a group of people interested in the expedition and we will propose some of the routes that pass through the most special points of the Erjos valley itself, as well as El Palmar , with destinations such as Punta de Teno or the spectacular landscapes left by the Los Gigantes cliffs.
On our hiking routes we will make certain stops to explain in detail the peculiarities of the fauna and plant species that make up its ecosystem. We will walk among small paths of lush vegetation that will give us the feeling of traveling a space far removed from the civilized world.
The itinerary runs upward or down the slopes that the area presents. Reaching the highest part of the park will allow us to enjoy a magnificent view of the entire area with the sea in the background.
