La Posada de Campos

The La Posada de Campos equestrian center focuses on the world of horses through riding classes, horseball, pony rides and horseback riding routes > both in winter and summer.We are located very close to Palencia, in the municipality of Villamartín de Campos.

Do you want to learn to ride a horse and ride through the Castilian plains?

We offer short tours with 1 hour or 2 hours of crossing through the Mirador de la Autilla, La Laguna de la Nava, Ampudia and El Monte de Palencia.

And journeys of several days for authentic knights-errant such as the routes we have along the Canal de Castilla or the Camino de Santiago, being able to reach the Compostela cathedral itself.

Do you prefer to learn the technique of mastering a horse in our facilities?

You will be able to with our dressage and jumping classes, for levels ranging from beginners to the most advanced level reaching the competition.

In addition, we present to you a very original game that has more and more followers: horseball. A mix of basketball, polo and horse riding with which you can practice horse control and compete as a team at the same time.

And for the little ones we have thought of a short but very nice tour on the back of beautiful ponies. And both the little ones and teenagers can sign up for our horse riding camps in summer with which they will discover nature in a fun way thanks to our instructors dedicated to children's education, and specialized in horse riding.

The boarding of horses, breaking and training, shoeing and horse transportation are other of our services.

To rest from the walks, we offer a stay in ouraccommodation with 14 rooms available.

Our Equestrian Center La Posada de Los Campos is approved as a professional equestrian center by the Federation of Castilla y León . We have extensive experience in equestrian activities for a completely heterogeneous audience. Our goal is that everyone, regardless of age, who wants to ride a horse, can do it with us.

We have horse riding , for lovers of nature and animals, with which you can discover Palencia in an extraordinary experience uploaded in one of these animals so therapeutic.

We have rides of different duration, from routes of one hour or less, to routes of days, to adapt to the route that each person wants. These can also be done with ponies , so that the little ones can also participate in this activity.

In our routes we can visit places as interesting as the Mirador de Autilla , from which we can contemplate the panoramic views or the animals that live in the Laguna de la Nava .

For the multi-day routes you need a previous experience in horse riding and riding with them, as they will go through different routes, with slopes and different types of terrain.

Our equestrian center La Posada de Campos is composed of a set of indoor and outdoor facilities that make up an equestrian school where you can do all kinds of equestrian activities, not just regular classes.

In summer, we organize camps for children and teenagers . In them, they spend a few days knowing much more about the equestrian world and discovering the wonders of spending a few days in a natural environment doing outdoor recreational activities.

In these camps your children will learn to perform various activities around the world of the horse:

- Equine care : they will learn the basics of cleaning and caring for the horse.

- Horse riding classes : outdoor riding practices, in which a monitor will teach them to perform the activity safely and correctly.

- Horseback riding excursions : walks through the natural environment.

- Summer activities : like gymnastics and group games, with which the children will have fun knowing each other more and in which new friendships will be born.
