At Mandarinablue Tours Hiking we offer you the excursion: Alicante is not a desert. As its name says, on the tour we will be able to observe the vegetation and fauna characteristic of the area, we will enjoy the views, the colors, the nature, the smells of the countryside... We will also visit an old well-kept water mill and its friendly host.

This tour offers you the possibility of doing something active, walking in the Sella Valley, a very special and unique place in the province.

Sella is a small town surrounded by steep mountains, sharp peaks and fruit trees arranged in terraces, immersed in a valley of lush nature and dreamlike panoramic views. On our walk we will be able to recognize the most relevant geographical points of Alicante; the Puig Campana, the Sierra de Aitana, the Peñon de Ifach, from an exceptional perspective and accompanied by the beautiful view of the Mediterranean Sea in the background.

After the walk, we will stop for lunch (food is optional, see note below) and after this break we will visit the town of Sella to buy some local products, visit the town's main fountain or walk a little further to the Hermitage, located at the top of the town, from where we can enjoy magnificent views.

Finally we will return to the starting point (trip duration depends on the city of departure, Sella/Benidorm approx. 1h). The tour in total will last about 3 hours.

Mandarinablue Tours BTT offers you this fun and healthy activity through which you will get to know the area of Santa Pola and its surroundings.

Encourage your family or friends and, if you are a group of about 7-10 people, we can organize a great excursion just for you.

On the route we recommend, the estimated time of the bike ride is about 3 hours, not counting stops. It is a route of low difficulty, without steep slopes and suitable for all audiences, especially suitable for lovers of nature and the sea and for those who want to spend a fun day meeting other people and enjoying a group activity.
We will do a day by bicycle, following the following itinerary:

• We leave from Arenales beach
• We will pass through: Carabassi, Cabo de Santa Pola, the coves of Santa Pola del Este, Varadero beach, Levante beach, Gran Playa, Lisa beach and Tamarit beach.
• Finally the Gola, from where we will also see the Santa Pola Salt Flats.

We will stop at several of these beaches to enjoy the landscape and the sea. Lunch is planned at a restaurant in Santa Pola and after resting for a while, we will return along the same path to the starting point.

Mandarinablue Tours Wine Tourism invites you to discover the wines of our area: starting from various places (see pick-up points and schedules below) we will travel by bus to Algueña. Along the way we will stop to admire the landscape, a charming setting surrounded by vineyards and mountains from where we can see the spectacular marble quarry, better known in the area as “the Vinalopó waterfalls”.

This tour is a mix of culture, rural tourism, landscapes and gastronomy, but the true purpose of this route is to get you closer to a region little recognized in the tourist circuits of our province to show you a little secret that we have in Alicante: its wine.

In our excursion we include the following:

• Round trip bus transportation.
• Spanish and English speaking accompanying guide (TL) (*see note below).
• Guided tour of the winery and wine tasting.
• Information dossier and travel documents.

We will visit a winery located in this Alicante region of Vinalopó Medio, where we will take a guided tour and taste some of its tasty wines. This winery is one of the 11 wineries that are authorized in the world by the Regulatory Council to produce Fondillón wine, an internationally known wine from Alicante.

Next we will have some time to explore the town, its market (only on Sundays) or the most popular butcher shop among Alguera residents, where we can taste the “world-famous” Pinoso sausages and other delicacies.
