At Mulemotion we have created the ideal combination between hiking and contact with an animal that has been so important to humans as the mule. We opt for an active ecotourism that is always carried out in a sustainable and responsible way.

We are located in the surroundings of the Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park from where we go on walks and excursions of at least one day that can last up to 3 days. The greatest peculiarity of this service is that we provide it accompanied by mules that, in addition to helping us carry our luggage, provide us with a unique view of this species.

While we travel we spend the night in camps that we move from one point to another, making our clients comfortable without losing their direct connection with nature at any time. This allows us to develop an important educational work in terms of environmental awareness. Come with us and:

At Mulemotion we bring a unique feature to traditional hiking and trekking with the incorporation of our mules. They are assistants and companions in our excursions from the Sierra de Grazalema.

We understand that if you are looking for a natural route it does not make sense that it is separated from the basic criteria of conservation and environmental education. That is why the team of professionals from related disciplines that make up our company have created proposals that have earned the “zero impact” recognition for their contribution to sustainable ecotourism. - Departures in the same day : are those in which we complete 12 kilometers through Grazalema or 10 of them in the Líjar part. We will walk without even carrying a backpack since the mules will be our porters. They have no difficulty so you can come with children.

- 2-day adventure : which we recommend doing on the weekend and will take us along the Route of the Lookouts or through the Green Heart. Meals are included and you sleep camping on the way.

- 3-day trip : in which we make the most of the mountains with an activity that we classify as of medium difficulty due to its duration. It will introduce us to the animal species that live in Grazalema and the configuration of its forests.

The mule is the main species of our leisure services understood as a companion that helps us lighten the load so that we can enjoy the road even more.

Our expeditions are developed under the direction of naturalists and biologists who decide the itinerary of greatest interest to the visitor. They also design it according to standards that allow zero negative impact on the environment.

You can get to know our mules through:

- Hiking routes : along a dozen kilometers in Líjar or staying in Grazalema on routes that will vary depending on their duration. The minimum time is one day, they can be extended to two, especially on weekends, or hire up to three for a more complete experience.

- Porteos to assist other activities : always with the greatest care of the animal, we make them available to transport your adventure materials. With the mules you can access places that cannot be passed with other types of transport and the unnecessary pollution emitted by traditional vehicles is avoided.
