Ruta Sur offers you the possibility of discovering some of the most beautiful corners of Andalusia . For this we organize different hiking routes . What are they?
- Ascent to Mulhacen : this program lasts three days. The purpose is to climb the southern slope to the highest peak in Spain. From the heights you can enjoy impressive views discovering the African coasts.
- Ascensión Navachica : you will discover one of the most attractive points of Nerja. For three days, on the one hand, you will walk through the roughest mountain range in Andalusia, with an altitude of almost 1900 meters, while you are surrounded by the waters of the ocean. And on the other hand you can visit the spectacular Caves of Nerja.
- Ascent to La Maroma : in one day you will visit the highest peak of Sierra Tejada, a mountain range that borders Granada and Malaga. From the heights you will be able to see Sierra Nevada and the African coasts.
- Ascensión al Veleta : the route, which lasts one day, begins at the Sierra Nevada University Hostel. We begin the ascent following the trails up to Veleta (Sierra Nevada). In summer there is hardly any difficulty, but in winter we must use crampons to overcome obstacles such as altitude and unevenness.
In order to carry out any of our routes, all we ask is that you are used to walking on mountainous terrain and have a good physical condition . During the activity you will have civil liability insurance , in addition to having a qualified guide at your disposal.
