If you want to travel some wonderful routes through the Lozoya Valley , why not do it riding a donkey ? A walk with these animals will make you live your tour in a completely different way. In addition, your connection with them will make you feel a special affection towards these animals.

You could also enjoy various orientation activities in the Sierra Norte . With them, your contact and bond with nature will increase, because only by guiding yourself with a compass , a map and the directions that we will provide, will you be able to move around it to reach the points of arrival.

With these days you will learn to know the whole world that surrounds you in an original way. It's a great way to get to know yourself too and grow personally.

How would you like to know the best corners of Garganta de los Montes in a completely original way? If this idea appeals to you, at Fundación Thyme we want you to do it riding a donkey!

Lolo and Lola are the names of the donkeys that we have under our care and we want you to know them. On the back of these, you will travel several routes through which you will pass through the paths that cross the Lozoya Valley .

You should not be afraid, because both donkeys are very affectionate , so much so that you will want to take them home. Do not miss the opportunity to meet them.

Your donkey ride will be a special opportunity to have fun, a different experience and a way to get to know all the elements that surround the area in peace.

Description of Tomillo Orienteering

At the Tomillo Foundation we respond to those circumstances that may make it difficult for a person to integrate into their usual environment and we have verified the benefits that activities in nature have at the time to achieve this goal.

We travel to the Sierra Norte to participate in games and dynamics of orientation , in its most literal aspect, which are added to those that we carry out so that each member of the community, young or old, find your place and move on.

The most important thing about our orientation activities is that with them we gain confidence in our abilities, since we use our own resources to reach the goal that has been set for us, in a day that usually passes like this:

- We will equip ourselves with the basic material of all life: a map and a compass mainly. We will completely forget about GPS and we will know how to interpret the instruments that have always been used, avoiding relying on batteries and electricity.

- We will set marked points that we will have to locate thanks to the indications that have been provided to us. We will thus apply the reading of the maps and the compass in practice.
