Description of Youth Hostel Jávea

One of our dreams has always been to find a space where to combine a sun and beach vacation with days full of adventure. The ideal place to carry it out had to be Jávea and that is why we located our hostel here seeking to offer you the best options.

The hostel is designed for young and active people who want to get to know the area and spend a fun holiday full of new sensations. Thinking of them we can offer activities of different modalities:

Activities on the beach: we will prepare days of paddle surfing, surfing and kayaking either along the coast of Jávea or on the islet of Portixol. These sports are the most refreshing and simple you can find and, even if it is your first time practicing them, you are sure to have fun like never before.
Activities in the interior: we prepare hiking trails and on top of a MTB . The areas chosen to carry them out will be La Granadella and Montgó where you will discover that Jávea has much more to offer in addition to its beaches.

Another good idea are the English courses and other languages that we prepare with the teachers of the Youth Hostel Jávea. You can stay in the hostel for the entire time you are in the course and learn much more while having a good beach vacation.

Description of Youth Hostel Jávea Kayaking

We want your stay with us to be as unforgettable as possible so we invite you to do an activity through the waves. It is a kayak route for adults, children and anyone who wants to come and try it and have a day something different from the typical sun and beach tourism.

The kayak excursions are done in groups and accompanied by a monitor. The starting point will be a Jávea beach and together we will sail to Isla del Portitxol . This islet located a few kilometers from the shore is a unique place to do adventure sports.

If the weather is good and you want to relax, we can leave some time for a bath and perhaps a meal among its white sand beaches. If you choose to do this itinerary at sunrise you may be able to see Ibiza on the other side of the sea as long as the day is clear enough.

In addition to providing you with accommodation at the Youth Javea hostel, we also look for other complementary activities to kayaking. Surfing, hiking, bike routes ... and a lot of nightlife options for those who want to spend a fun vacation.

The Costa de Jávea is full of beaches and coves where the waves break with force, so you can practice the most varied water sports. We love to organize Paddle Surf days, a safe, complete and, above all, fun sport for all those who try it for the first time.

It is not a course, but just a day on top of the table . If this is your first time with paddle surfing, it sure costs you a bit to keep your balance, but don't worry because it happens to all of us when we get on the board.

Paddle surfing will provide you with great fun if you come with your group of friends. Surely that way you will not worry so much about staying on the board and the laughs will be assured between dips in the waves.

If you are something more professional, we will try to find new challenges for you and we will go with you to Portitxol island so that you can practice in the best possible aquatic environment.

Our Surf days are not exclusive for professionals and that is what makes them the best in Jávea. Surfing is a somewhat complicated activity, but from Youth Hostel Jávea we want to give you all the facilities so that you too feel like an expert riding the waves.

Is it your first time on the table? Then we will have to give you a series of lessons ashore first. Then you will go to put them into practice in the water and, even if it costs you at first, very soon you will be going towards the biggest waves.

To get the best experiences we will go to the beaches of Portixol Island . This small islet can be seen from the coast of Jávea and welcomes great adventurers every day who want to practice their favorite sport in waters so blue that they seem out of a movie.

You will need a wetsuit when the water is colder, but we can provide it for you. If you already have it, bring it because that way you can surf in total comfort and with a suit perfectly adapted to your measurements.

Description of Youth Hostel Jávea Mountain Biking

Jávea is one of the towns with the most contrasts in the entire country. As soon as you will be enjoying a quiet day at the beach and practicing adventure sports in its high mountains.

As we want you to have both options, we propose mountain biking routes through the Montgó Natural Park so that you can discover its beauty and paths full of unevenness and adrenaline. Another area to which we usually take anyone who wants to go on mountain bike excursions is the Reserva del Monte Público de la Granadella , where you will find panoramic views of the sea and labyrinthine paths with a very characteristic flora .

Those who want to combine this route by bicycle with a somewhat more special route, will go to the towns in the interior of the Marina Alta . In this itinerary you will discover an area of Jávea that has remained impassive over time and in which you can still see surprising architecture.

The bicycle will be left for you at the hostel, as well as the helmets, protections and everything strictly necessary to do the route. We recommend that you bring an appropriate cycling suit, a camera and a snack to take half way.

Are you in Jávea and looking for an alternative to the beach? Is your vacation missing a small dose of adventure? With the hiking excursions that we do at Youth Hostel Jávea you will be able to achieve all that you are looking for and truly disconnect from the hustle and bustle.

There are two main areas that we usually travel:

La Granadella: is a reserve in the interior of Jávea. You will enjoy walking under the trees, along winding paths and reaching peaks that almost touch the sky.
Montgó Natural Park: is an impressive mountain where you can get a greater intensity on the routes. We will continually find ascending and descending paths and you will have to be a little fit if you don't want to tire quickly.

Sometimes we also go to the Barranc del Infern where there are cliffs in the mountain so incredibly beautiful that it has been renamed the cathedral of hiking. If you want us to go to this place, you have to come prepared with comfortable shoes, food and drink for the road and a camera to immortalize the mountain. In addition, we may enter certain caves so that you can also enjoy the interior of the mountain.

What better way to learn English than to do it in our facilities. We propose different language courses in which you can combine classes and beach in a unique way.

Classes are taught by highly experienced teachers and educators who organize workshops and games for you to learn in a very enjoyable way. The schedule of these classes will be in the morning so afterwards you will have the afternoon free to go to the beach, explore Jávea or to meet other participants of these language camps.

Our facilities have everything to be able to carry out English courses, from common areas and classrooms to large conference rooms where we will project audiovisual material that will reinforce the lessons.

The camps are designed for all ages and the groups we organize will be based on the level. When you are at the Youth Hostel Jávea we will also invite you to do other adventure activities with monitors who speak more than one language and who will help you speak the language you speak.
