At the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía we have been training new recruits in the field of classical music for a quarter of a century. We are located next to the Royal Palace, next to the Almudena Cathedral, a space from which our young people prepare for the hundreds of concerts that we program annually in the most prestigious auditoriums throughout the peninsula.
In the month of July, our services are joined by the organization of the Summer Camp aimed at participants of a minimum of 12 years and a maximum of 17. It was created in cooperation with the San Pablo CEU Foundation. With the aim of giving more facilities to students, it is offered with accommodation or as a day camp, maintaining breakfast and lunch for those enrolled who choose this option. It consists of:
- Musical and cultural programming : in total we will exceed 40 hours of specific training with instrumental and choir practice. We will also visit the capital's key museums and workshops related to instruments.
- Language learning : English classes will be taught which, in the case of foreign students, will be in Spanish to improve their knowledge of Spanish.
- Sports, excursions and recreational activities : we will participate in swimming sessions and, in addition to knowing the emblematic buildings that surround the school, we will travel to Santander.
