At the Tempestalia Sailing School we like to teach in the practice of teaching, training people so that they know how to function at sea in any weather condition, emphasizing the safety of the ship and the crew.
We do not forget the theoretical part, in which we guide our students to pass their exams. Our classes are supported by state-of-the-art audiovisual media.
For the communications practices we used 17.6 ”laptops and the well-known VOX MARIS simulator. The use of this type of computer facilitates the work and the visualization of the simulator equipment and also allows the classes to be moved to any part of the island, thus bringing the classroom closer to the students.
In the sea practices we use boats rented to prestigious and reliable charter companies on the island, which allows us to constantly renew the fleet and give the student the possibility of trying all kinds of boats while they carry out their practices, at the same time that they get advantageous discounts when it comes to renting a boat .. We also have a bonus system / improvement exit with which students who have already finished their studies can continue sailing and improving their knowledge at affordable prices.
We want tempestalia to be not just a school to use but a meeting place and relationship for sailors and sea lovers, that is why we do activities, so that our former students can meet again and see us again, we also give them guidance when they have to go on crossings, buy or rent a boat.
