Escuela Náutica Altair

Located in the Olympic Port of Barcelona and Páix Llobregat, our nautical school is based on nautical training and mastery of boats to obtain the corresponding qualifications, navigate safely and become great skippers. At Escuela Náutica Altair we also offer other services such as availability of skipper and qualified personnel , maintenance and aerofilming , or boat rental .

We started in our nautical academy by training students theoretically and preparing them for the corresponding exams. Within our range of possibilities we offer both group courses , as well as personalized courses and private classes :

• Navigation License (LN): Vessels up to 6 meters in length and navigation up to 2 miles away from the port.
• Basic Navigation Pattern (PNB): Boats up to 8 meters in length and navigation up to 5 miles away from the port.
• Recreational Boat Skipper (PER): Boats up to 15 meters in length and navigation up to 12 miles away from the port.

We continue with the practices in our licensed boats . They are necessary for the issuance of the title and to gain experience, security and knowledge. We have a team of professionals with more than 15 years of experience for your training. In addition to practices for the LN, PNB and PER; We also have these others:

• 16 hours of practice to qualify the title from PER to SAIL.
• 24 hours of practice to qualify PER title to vessels up to 24 meters in length and navigation to the Balearic Islands.
• 12 hours of Short-range Radio Operator practice.
