The Pineta Valley is one of the best known and most visited in the Pyrenees. It is not surprising, since it is a place of great beauty and notable dimensions. Its marked V-shaped profile reveals its glacial origin, and it runs for 14 km between the Sierra de las Sucas and the Sierra de Espierba. At the head of it is the Monte Perdido massif, one of the most emblematic peaks of the Pyrenees.
Marboré offers us privileged views of the Monte Perdido glacier and the Pineta valley itself from the balcony of the same name. A must-see is Lake Marboré (2,590 meters), next to which is the Tucarroya refuge, the oldest in the Pyrenees.
There are many corners and places that are worth visiting within the Pineta Valley. One of the best known is the Marboré plateau (Marmorés), a must-see site to reach some of the best-known "tresmiles" of our valleys: Monte Perdido, el Cilindro, los Aztazus.
The Valle de pineta station has a total of 3 marked circuits with a total of 8 kilometers. Contact us and come enjoy Nordic skiing on our slopes.
