Description of Valle de Pineta

The Pineta Valley is one of the best known and most visited in the Pyrenees. It is not surprising, because it is a place of great beauty and remarkable dimensions. Its marked V profile reveals its glacial origin, and runs along 14 km between the Sierra de las Sucas and the Sierra de Espierba. At the top of it is the Monte Perdido massif, one of the most emblematic peaks of the Pyrenees.

Marboré offers privileged views of the Monte Perdido glacier and the Pineta Valley itself from the balcony of the same name. A must-see is Lake Marboré (2,590 meters), next to the Tucarroya refuge, the oldest in the Pyrenees.

There are many places and places that are worth visiting within the Pineta Valley. One of the best known is the high plateau of Marboré (Marmorés), a place of forced passage to reach some of the best known "tresmiles" of our valleys: Monte Perdido, the Cylinder, the Aztazus.

The Pineta Valley station has a total of 3 circuits marked with a total of 8 kilometers. Contact us and come and enjoy Nordic skiing on our slopes.
