Formigal Esqui Club

Skiing in the Vall de Tena, more specifically in the Huesca town of Sallent de Gallego, began at the beginning of the 20th century in the midst of the Civil War. As a consequence of this, the organization of events suffered a logical interruption since all skiers of military age were called up for the skier company.

In 1940 a group of friends from Zaragoza and Sallent founded what is today the Formigal Esqui Club with the aim of promoting the practice of this sport in the mountains, where years later, the current Formigal ski resort was located.

In addition to promoting skiing, Formigal Esqui Club sought the participation of the most experienced skiers in national and international competitions in which the F.E.C was represented

Since the founding of Formigal Esqui Club many have been selected to be part of the National Alpine Skiing Team, which makes us proud and makes us continue to believe in what we do, working every day to obtain the best possible results.
