The idea of creating Mojarras Surf arose from observing the fact that there was no surf school in the town of Plentzia. Its creation was forged during the first edition of Surf Eguna, in 2003.
A group of parents who organized the event decided to give shape to this surfing collective of promising young people and bring them together in a club. After several calls, a meeting was organized on July 20, 2007, after which Mojarras Surf would be established.
The fundamental objective of Mojarras Surf is to serve as a bridge between surfing and society. Today, after these years, we can say that we continue to advance in achieving our objectives, which, as our Statutes say, are:
We develop all our surf activity programs in accordance with environmentally friendly methods of work organization and operation and the principle of ecological sustainability. This sport is 100% respectful of nature and the professionals who form Mojarras Surf are very clear about it.
