At Mi Sierra de Gata we draw on the richness and variety that we find in the natural landscapes of the Valle de las Pilas and Árrago to introduce you to the knowledge of the fauna and flora that make up this protected area.
We approach the places of greatest scenic value through:
- Hiking routes: without difficulty and so that you can share them with the whole family, discovering the vestiges of ancient civilizations of which there are still remains and the riverside forests that extend on both sides of the river.
- Ornithological walks: in addition to it being common for us to encounter vultures or eagles during our visit to the area in the northwest of Extremadura, we have specific outings to bird observatories where we will have the opportunity to contemplate them in their midst.
- 4x4 departures: for all tastes, with departures from 3 hours to a full day. These vehicles will take us to the summit of the mountain range, they will help us get closer to the birds once again and they will give us the opportunity to watch the sunset and see how night falls.
