IB Yachting is a Nautical School established in the Real Club Náutico de Mallorca, which also has the services of sale, rental and repair of sailboats. Thanks to our experience, we have been perfecting the leisure offers and positioning ourselves as one of the most recognized companies in our land. The course consists of a theoretical and a practical part, where you will have to use the knowledge acquired fully. You will have at your disposal a beautiful Salona sailboat, fully equipped and that will delight everyone who sails on it.

IB Yachting awaits you!

If you are passionate about the sea and want to start training to be able to move around it completely independently, the IB Yachting Nautical School offers you the Navigation License so that you can get your first degree. Thanks to our course, you will be able to direct pleasure boats up to 6 meters in length, plying the sea for a maximum of 2 nautical miles. In addition, you can also drive class C jet skis.

In order to have your first contact it is necessary that you be over 16 years old , if you are a minor you must carry an authorization from the tutor. The course is divided into a theoretical part and a practical part , having a total duration of 6 hours. You will acquire notions about navigation limitations in marked or unmarked areas, as well as how to get there. You will know the maritime traffic regulations and how to navigate within the port, following the marks of Region A.

As for the sailboat, you will put into practice the necessary techniques to direct the boat in an optimal way , avoiding sudden movements such as pitching and rolling. In addition, you will know how not to cross yourself in the sea during a crossing. To improve your level of communication with the outside , you will use a VHF station and Channel 16, both in basic and emergency operations, getting in touch with Salvamento Marítimo.

Within our offer of routes, we review three emblematic points of our land, in which we will enjoy hidden coves, steep cliffs and crystal clear waters where we will anchor to snorkel. Mallorca is an authentic natural paradise and together we can discover it, enjoying its ecological wealth. We will be able to depart from the Real Club Náutico de Palma and navigate the Bay of the city, aboard a fantastic sailboat. You will be accompanied by a qualified skipper at all times and on board you will be able to taste delicious typical Majorcan aperitifs.

The La Rapita Nautical Club will be our starting point if we go to Es Tren , a beautiful virgin beach with white sand. Next to it, Es Carbo, another natural treasure that we will also visit to dive and enjoy the Mediterranean seabed. And if you want to go further, we will reach La Cabrera and visit the National Park. This visit includes two free hours so that users can calmly visit the city or be on the beach. In addition, we will get to Cova Blava.

Whichever excursion you choose, transportation to and from the hotel is always included, as well as the necessary material for snorkeling and food. In addition, boarding and anchoring will cost you nothing.
