The geographical position that we occupy in La Isla Activa is what determines the activity in which we specialize: kayaking. We organize all the activities that are focused on knowing more details about Cabo de Gata such as:

- Kayak: participate in the itineraries that are designed to take you from one beach to another while you get to know the coves that dot the entire Natural Park. We can stop to rest eating the picnic that we usually take while whoever wants to try snorkeling. There is no age limit for this and children, if they are very young, can go in the same boat as their adult companions.

- Mountain biking: we stay on land to cover the same coastline without sailing, seeing a more global perspective of the entire seascape doing a sport that many are hooked on and that is always desirable even if it is not professionally.

- Rental of pedal boats and paddle surf boards: so that when you get off the kayak you can continue taking advantage of your day at sea, share with your family one of the calmest and most fun ways to be in the water or jump in with a board for yourself alone and paddle along the entire coast.

Cabo de Gata keeps an amazing natural wealth that in La Isla Activa we have learned to make it reach you while respecting it as much as possible. Our kayak excursions are authorized to tour the Natural Park since we will do it in the most ecological boats that exist and without the environment knowing that we have passed through there.

- The landscape: mostly you will see dreamy contrasts between sea and rock. They are coves that cannot be reached in any other way than in the way that we offer you with what you can imagine the exclusivity of the service that forms our proposal.

- The secrets under the water: surely you will be peeking out throughout the tour, for this reason and so that you do not suffer, if you want we can take snorkel goggles so that you peek out and see some of the species that swim closer to the surface. Usually we also take something to eat to stop in one of the coves and enjoy it in the best place.

- The possibilities in terms of itinerary: there are several whose difficulty is proportional to the time we have to be paddling. Common starting points are Playa del Corral or Agua Amarga.

Besides that a guide goes with us and we all wear life jackets, if you feel more comfortable you can hire our support boat.

Cabo de Gata offers some beautiful seascapes but, as we didn't want to stay there on La Isla Activa, we thought we should also show them to you from land through itineraries that we completed with mountain bikes.

Our activity center operates inside the Cabo de Gata Natural Park. It is precisely through this environment that we will trace the path of our excursions in which:

- We will rent the bicycle to you: it is a fun but cumbersome vehicle when traveling so don't worry about bringing it because you can use ours without any problem.

- We will always go out with a guide: so that you can make the most of your time, we will not make you waste it wandering around without knowing where you are going. Instead, one of our instructors will go with you to pedal directly to the most beautiful points in the area where historical remains are mixed with impressive views of the coastline indented by the sea.

Regarding duration and requirements, we can go at the pace you want, taking quiet walks, looking for the easiest paths, or challenging ourselves on purpose by following a more complex and demanding route.

At La Isla Activa we want you to discover the beauty of Cabo de Gata by walking along the sea. For this you can rent our boats and be the skipper, taking your companions to discover the best coves and caves that you can find on your way.

But if you simply want to relax and enjoy the ride, you can request that the boat be run by a skipper. Ask him which destinations you want him to take you to and he will be able to bring you closer.

Among the beaches to visit, we recommend one of the most valued for its beauty, Los Muertos.

The Cala Enmedio is not easily accessible, which is why it is one of the most suitable for you to go with the boat. When you arrive you will see that it was worth it simply for lying on its sand.

You can also access the Cala del Plomo or San Pedro , where in addition to taking a refreshing bath you can contemplate the impressive ruins of the castle that bears the same name.

Finally, at the foot of a hill, Mesa Roldán, you can find four coves, including Cala Arena. It is somewhat complicated to reach them by land, so it is also an ideal place to visit with a ride on our boats.
