The Alvear winery was founded in 1729 and, since then, we have preserved the traditional way of making our wines. Completely dedicated to enology, we provide the best care to our vineyards in order to obtain the best grapes that will later be our delicious wine.
Being the oldest in Andalusia, our winery has great prestige and recognition for the excellent quality of its wines.
We have vineyards spread across different mountain ranges of Montilla in which the main strain of all the harvests is the Pedro Ximénez; grape that provides us with a sweet and fine wine after having rested for years in our cellars.
The process of obtaining the final product is long and complicated to explain, so you will have to go to our winery to learn about it in depth and have the privilege of visiting our vineyards and wineries. You will enjoy the beauties of the countryside and the facilities, you will learn the complete history of our winery and the wine creation process and we will end with an excellent tasting of our products.
