Description of Bodegas Solar de Urbezo

In 1995 Santiago Gracia Ysiegas founded Bodegas Solar de Urbezo, with the aim of producing grapes from the vineyards that the Gracia-Campillo family owns in Cariñena, offering full guarantee of quality and purity in their wines. The winery is located in the region of Aragón and 45 km from its capital, Zaragoza.

The wine culture in Cariñena is one of the oldest in Spain since it dates back to the 3rd century BC. when the Romans inhabited these lands. The cultivation of grapes has continued over the centuries, and continues to be fundamental in the way of life, economy and historical heritage of the area.

The altitude at which the vineyards are located, the extreme climate with cold winters and warm summers, the lack of rain and the limestone and clay-stony soils are essential factors for the vineyards to develop their full potential, obtaining low productions of excellent quality. and wines of great expression.

From the vine to the glass, at Bodegas Solar de Urbezo the production process combines the know-how of a long family tradition, with modern facilities and a distribution network that allows our wines to reach everyone. the corners of the planet.

Get in touch with Bodegas Solar de Urbezo and come enjoy unforgettable moments with us, the best experts in the sector will accompany you during your visit to the facilities.
