Bodegas Valdelana has been growing vines and making wines since the 16th century. In 1974, the first wine labeled and bottled with the name Valdelana was put on the market. His work has always been carried out in Elciego, a town in La Rioja-Alavesa.
The winery's facilities have continued to expand and improve, generation after generation, to achieve high quality in its wines.
The company belongs to the Rioja Denomination of Origin, taking advantage of the magnificent conditions of the area for the cultivation of vines and the production of wines
In the region they enjoy a microclimate with very poor soils but protected from the wind by mountain ranges. The sun is permanent, favoring the good ripening of the grapes.
Bodegas Valdelana has a wine museum, offering its visitors a very interesting collection of tools for wine production from all periods.
