Bodegas Vizar

Bodegas Vizar is located on a farm on the banks of the Duero River in the municipality of Villabañez (Valladolid), 22 kilometers from the capital. Our facilities have 90 hectares of land where the Winery and the entire vineyard are located.

The vineyards of the estate have witnessed various civilizations that populated Spain. The farm was part of the now extinct town of Peñalba. The town arose during the Reconquista on the southern bank of the Duero River, opposite the Christian lands.

The estate has come to belong to the Dukes of Alba, subsequently passing through various hands over the centuries, until it currently belongs to the Zarzuela family.

The family, betting on the area and its rural environment, and believing in the possibilities of the estate and vineyards, brings quality wines to the wine market.
