Wines of the Heirs of the Marqués de Riscal has always been a pioneer and reference company in the wine sector.

The first winery began to be built in 1858. Inside these facilities, nowadays used for the aging of wine in barrels, is La Catedral, a bottle rack in which Marqués de Riscal keeps his best treasure, a unique composite collection for bottles of all vintages produced since 1862.
The increase in wine production meant that in 1883 the facilities of this winery had to be expanded, a fact that would be repeated in 1968 and 2000.
