Els Cups Wine Museum is located in a manor house in the town of Montbrió. This museum reflects the past and winemaking tradition of the area. The search for pieces began in the seventies with the aim of building a monographic wine museum.
The museum was inaugurated in August 1983. With this event the search intensified and the premises expanded.
As soon as we enter the museum we find the Press room, with a varied set of presses used to obtain grape must. In addition, some tools used in the winemaking process are on display.
The Montbrió Room collects a select collection of photographs that reflects the customs, traditions and peculiarities of the town. It also includes a wide range of metal, wood and pottery pieces and tools.
The museum has three original winepresses, preserved in perfect condition. All of them can be visited and get an idea of the ancient wine-making process.
