In La Rioja, land of wines, Solar de Samaniego was born, a winery that if there is something characterized by its family union, its roots Rioja and their passion for good wine. Thus, many years ago, back in 1972, at the foot of the Laguardia walls, a medieval town located in the heart of Rioja Alavesa, Solar de Samaniego appeared, becoming one of the first Rioja wineries. withDO Ribera del Duero.

Our winery stands out for its years of knowledge and hobby passed down from father to son. Consecrated to the patient and artisan miracle of transforming the unrivaled grapes of their lands, into the wine capable of marveling tasters from all over the world, and from where we give you the pleasant opportunity to try it during ourwine tourism experiences.

Wanting to continue evolving and offering you the best services, starting in 2015, we decided to remodel our warehouses, always maintaining our aesthetics and heritage, especially in their concrete tanks.

Trying to leave everyone who wants to visit our winery indifferent, our collaborations with the Cultural Landscapes Chair and UNESCO Heritage have made that different references from the world of art and architecture, such as Guido Van Helten with his murals, intervene in the aesthetics of the winery.

Our initiative is for you to enter the wine world, learn about our history, learn about wine making and fall in love with it through a route through the vineyards and the inside our wineries thanks to experiences, wine tourism visits and wine tastings.
