Do you know what you are going to find north of Burgos if you are looking for horseback riding activities? Well, Villasuso de Mena, the small town where the Valledemena Equestrian Center is located, is a special place to enter the world of horse riding from a very young age. First, the treatment of our horses is exquisite and we like that children start riding horses very soon.

That's why we doriding classes from 3 years of age. But be careful, we have not specialized only in children. It is true that we have ponies for the little ones, with which we take initiation classes... but we also give classes to people of all ages and levels, reaching the competition level, improving the modalities of classical dressage and jumping, in addition to the typical horse (or pony) ride for everyone.

We even teach adapted classes and assisted therapy sessions for children with special needs through our horses.

But apart from these horse riding lessons, in summer the camp comes to Villasuso de Mena. With 3 weeks to choose between June 30 and July 19, our equestrian camps are for boys and girls from 6 to 16 years old in nature and living with new friends (human and equine)... in English! We will do workshops, games, we will prepare a play in English and a thousand other things.

Can't decide whether to take your child to an English camp or a horse riding camp? Well look no further, because at Centro Ecuestre Valledemena we organize an equestrian summer camp in English. And, where can you find this wonder? Well, in Villasuso de Mena, a small town located north of Burgos, very close to Cantabria and the Basque Country.

We will start on June 29 and end on July 19. But it is not a three-week camp, but you can choose any of them so that your child ( from 6 to 16 years ) comes to have an experience that he will always remember. Of course, during the week they will have riding lessons regardless of their level prior to coming to camp. We will do routes along the natural trails of Las Merindades and many fun activities with the horses, such as bathing them and feeding them, where they will learn the respect that must be shown to these mammals and the rest of the animals. p>

But it's not just horse riding, because we will do crafts workshops, evenings, theatrical performances, we will create a magazine, we will do gymkanas and we will learn pastry recipes. .. and all using English to reinforce vocabulary and oral skills, so that when they return to school in September they will not have problems with this subject.

In addition, in our facilities there is a discotheque and a swimming pool, which will be places of total fun in moments of free time.

At Valledemena Equestrian Center we have complete and entertaining riding classes ready for you and your entire family. Suitable for children from 3 years old, our facilities are so spacious that they allow for quiet lessons, surrounded by the natural peace that Villasuso de Mena offers us, a village belonging to the Valley from Mena (Burgos).

For the little ones, in this equestrian center there are several ponies accustomed to boys and girls. They are perfect for a first contact with the equestrian world, walking through the arena of the facilities at a gentle pace. For adults there are classes with real horses and for all levels. If you are new to this, then introductory classes, moving up little by little until you reach competition level lessons. Any horse riding lover has a place reserved in our center.

If you are a good rider, we also prepare you to fight for the podium in the riding tournaments you sign up for. Classical dressage and jumping, all modalities are our specialty.

But that's not all, because it has been proven that dealing with horses is beneficial for health if it is directed towards it, which is why we offer riding classes adapted to boys and girls with special needs. We will do assisted therapy with horses, very useful and effective for this purpose.
