TKS! TarifaKiteSurfCamporganizes an exclusive summer camp for teenagers between 13 and 17 years old in Tarifa. Specialized in personal development through the sport of kitesurfing, one of the most exciting sports for these ages. An excellent option for your children to spend their school holidays after a lot of work and effort during the school year.

Our participants come from Spain, Europe (Belgium, England, Holland...), Russia and other parts of the world. This coexistence between different nationalities and cultures enriches the experience of young people.

Our camp, in addition to an opportunity to practice languages because the official language is English, offers training to the participant in 2 different lines of work:

• Sports: with the learning and practice of kitesurfing, related to personal growth. They are sports that require high concentration, balance, subtlety, perseverance and inner strength to overcome limits and fears.

• Personal growth: with the "The best version of yourself" program, we accompany participants so that they understand the growth process they are experiencing, enhance personal strengths and abilities, learn to motivate themselves through their states, face new challenges naturally and without wear and tear, discover your own natural resources and how to use them on a daily basis, focus on stressful situations and know yourself better to be happier and make those around you happier.

We provide all the necessary equipment and it is not necessary for you to have prior knowledge of kitesurfing. We organize the participants according to their sporting level in this sport, to guarantee a unique and satisfactory experience.

In all sports programs we have different levels depending on the participants' prior knowledge, progress in learning and sports skills.

The objectives range from establishing a first contact with the wind, the sea, working on body skills, to perfecting technique, jumping, etc. for the most advanced.

Come on, we agree! Summer camps are a wonderful opportunity for our children to practice and improve their English; so this is the official language of TarifaKiteSurf Camp. And since children and young people from other parts of the world participate, they speak it 24 hours a day to be able to understand each other. Daily coexistence is the best school!!!

TKS! is a bilingual (English/Spanish) residential camp for young people between 13 and 17 years old, from all over the world (Spain, other places in Europe, Russia, etc.), specialized in learning KiteSurf.

What do our camps consist of?

Kitesurfing or Windsurfing

For 4 days a week we do 3 hours of classes daily. No previous experience is necessary, as our instructors will be in charge of grouping the children both by age and level and always to guarantee the best experience:

• Pre-Kite. With kites adapted to the weight of our students we will teach this sport with games with which they will learn to understand the wind, discover their skills and acquire a higher level for future courses.
• Kite. Here we will introduce them to this sport so that at the end of the camp they can sail with the kite.
• Pro-Kite. They will perfect their techniques and start freestyle.

Together with the multi-time champion Gisela Pulido, the students will have the best instructors and all the necessary equipment to carry out the activity in complete safety. Gisela will be in charge of advising you, telling you anecdotes, etc.

For the age group from 9 to 13 years old, we offer the possibility of windsurfing instead of kitesurfing. We have been able to observe that they learn very quickly, they enjoy it a lot and they feel safe and confident at all times.

*If there is not enough wind we will practice other sports such as paddle surfing, kayaking, surfing, etc.

Personal development

TKS! It includes a pioneering personal development program in Spain "the best version of yourself", combined with learning to kitesurf, due to the synergies that exist between them. It is a sport that requires concentration, balance, subtlety, perseverance and inner strength to overcome your limits and your fears. It is a sport that requires you to give "the best version of yourself."

This personal development program is designed so that participants maximize their learning and achieve greater progression in the water, in addition to taking home a set of tools that they can use in any area of their lives.

English classes

In our campWe have classes (English/Spanish) depending on the nationality of our students. Ours is one of the most productive camps, because here they can learn the language in the most natural and fun way. For us, learning is "language in action", so our main objective is to immerse you in the language 24 hours a day.

We carry out customized programs with theoretical bases but above all based on experimentation and practice during your stay with us.

The classes have an open structure and become dynamic and participatory, where they practice listening and speaking (we reinforce the work on phonetics and pronunciation). We carry out group dynamics that revolve around daily life accompanied by theater and relaxation that allow the student to lose shame, which is in most cases the main obstacle when learning a language.


Excursions and other activities

On weekends, no sofa or TV remote! Excursions to Bolonia, to the Grazalema Natural Park, to the Serranía de Ronda, to the Rock of Gibraltar, to the city of Tarifa, a boat excursion for whale watching, cars, visit to the Amazon Adventure circuit, to the Tarifa Dune and, of course, a great farewell party at 'Zuco 97', the most fashionable disco in Tarifa, with hamburgers, cocktails (non-alcoholic), a DJ with live music, gifts and other surprises that, if you we count, they would no longer be surprises!

In the afternoon and evening there will also be soccer parties, movies, karaoke, Wii, group games and much more.

Information for parents

The camp is located in a rural complex in the district of Betis, in the Estrecho Natural Park, 15km from Tarifa, between Punta Paloma Beach and Bolonia, a paradise of nature and beach, with stone and wooden houses where The kids will enjoy living with each other. And for the food, don't worry! Quality ingredients, wood ovens and a cook famous in Tarifa for her traditional food (paellas, potato omelette, fresh fish, local meat...) and for her special dinners.' TKS! Tarifakitesurfcampis undoubtedly one of the best residential camps for your teenage son or daughter. During the 3 weeks they spend with us, they will not only learn and practice kitesurfing, but they will also participate in a pioneering personal growth program through of sports coaching "the best version of yourself".

We are located in the Strait Natural Park, where teenagers come from Spain, Europe, Russia and other parts of the world. We have the support of the Tarifa City Council, who are also committed to new generations and a place where you can practice all types of adventure sports in nature.

We offer a fantastic kite program,from July 12 to 26, 2020, with one of the most professional kitesurf schools in Tarifa, and with special collaborations with champions in this sport , who will give "master" classes to the most advanced and will tell teenagers what the keys to success are in any learning they undertake in their lives.

Without the need for previous experience in this sport, we will have programs that adapt to both the level and age of the participants.

• Pre-Kite. They will have their first contact with the wind and will be able to develop physical skills, handle the material, know the basic techniques... They will have equipment adapted to their weight and age.

• Kite. They will get started in this sport, they will fly the kite both in the sand and in the water, they will be able to slide in the water both with and without the board, etc.

• Pro-Kite. This level is to perfect techniques and introduce participants to freestyle.

Regarding personal growth, we have designed eight days so that in the morning they can work on such important topics as (self-knowledge, effective communication, emotion management, etc...).

Additionally, due to the international nature of the camp, although we do not teach English classes as such, you will have the opportunity to practice English by speaking with participants who can only communicate in this language.

We also carry out other activities and excursions such as skateboarding, paddle surfing, surfing, body boarding, cultural visits... And during the nights we will have evening parties in which we will see a sunset, night excursions to the dune , concerts, parties and social gatherings.

Our accommodation is located in an exclusive section of Camping Paloma and the campers sleep in bungalows for 4 or 6 people with their own bathroom and common areas such as a swimming pool, supermarket, basketball and soccer court, Wi-Fi zone and ping-pong table. Just 5 minutes walk from the Punta dunepaloma and the mythical Valdevaqueros beach.

Our accommodation is a private rural complex in which there are open and green spaces between house and house, 100% safe and where you can enjoy quiet after-dinner meals and see the stars under the moonlight .

As for food, it's a priority for TKS! maintain a balanced diet according to the sporting needs of the participants and preferably use local products.

We have three types of courses:

• Pre-kite. It will help you get started in the practice of this sport. We have materials that will adapt to your weight and age.

• Kite. At this level, they will be able to go out to sea and handle the kite on a kite board, riding the waves.

• Pro-kite. This level is adapted for those who already have prior foundations and who will be able to further develop their knowledge, starting out in modalities such as freestyle.

For the youngest, from 8 to 12 years old, we propose a Surf & Longboard camp on different dates, ideal for these ages. They are safe sports, in which progress is made quickly, which gives them confidence and above all, most importantly, they enjoy a lot from the first day.

Not only will they learn to surf, but they will also learn English in a very fun way. They will be able to meet children and adolescents from all over the world, not only from Spain, but also from Europe or Russia. We have the support of the Tarifa City Council, so you can be sure that you will find the best professionals in our team.

We offer an incredible surfing program with which we will teach all the bases of this sport, starting with the theory of how tides and waves are formed, what are the wind conditions, what are the techniques to be used. used to stand up on the board, etc. After the theoretical explanations we will be able to put into practice everything we learned in the water under the supervision of our instructors.

Children and adolescents between 13 and 17 years old may come to our facilities, as long as they know how to swim.

Our English programs are perfect for children to consolidate the knowledge they have already acquired and expand their vocabulary and lose the shame when it comes to speaking the language in their daily lives.

We also promote personal development thanks to the support of the company Piensa Piensa, with whom we carry out workshops so that children develop both personal and social knowledge (self-control, communication, self-knowledge, etc.).

Throughout the camp we will also do different adventure activities such as paddle surfing, kitesurfing (our specialty), we can play the Wii, canyoning, body boarding, etc.

In our rural complex, just 15 km from Tarifa and with the beaches of Punta Paloma and Bolonia next door, children will be able to enjoy a perfect environment where the views are unmatched.

The accommodation has open and green spaces between the different stone houses and wooden cabins. They are 100% safe, where we can enjoy fun after-dinner meals together, games in the garden, long stays on the porches, barbecues, we will listen to music...

Our food is homemade, as we have cooks who make the food in our kitchen. We also have a cleaning and surveillance service 24 hours a day.
