Plane flight Segovia and El Escorial

We are going to show you that in just over an hour it is possible to tour the El Escorial Monastery and the Segovia aqueduct, giving you a complete panoramic view of both. You may have already realized that walking would be impossible but it is within your reach with this aerial tour aboard one of our Cessna 172 planes.

We begin the adventure in Madrid taking off from the slopes of Cuatro Vientos without even having to leave the capital. However, we will abandon it as soon as we begin the flight towards the west towards Móstoles and Pozuelo. Even if it is the first moments of the route, try not to miss anything because it will be when you see a wonderful postcard of all of Madrid with its characteristic skyline in which the four skyscrapers that put an end to the Castellana stand out. strong>.

After flying over Las Rozas and realizing that the terrain rises to an increasingly higher altitude, the Valmayor reservoir will appear before us. He will be the one who anticipates our arrival to El Escorial and, next to this town famous for its Monastery, Galapagar.

We will reach a height of around 6,500 feet, which in non-aeronautical language is equivalent to 2 km, to be able to admire the entire Central System, highlighting Navacerrada and the Seven Peaks. This is through the window on the right but don't get lost because on the left we will have Monte Abantos and Villacastín. They will be the ones that open the way for us to Segovia with its Alcázar and the profile of its recognizable cathedral in front.

Returning to the province of Madrid, the peculiar views will not have ended since crossing Mount Abantos we will find the Valley of the Fallen, the Monastery of El Escorial and the Puerto de la Cruz Verde.
