1 hour hot air balloon flight near Barcelona

Flying in a balloon is something that we should all try at least once. So when you have decided, choose the best, the one that makes your hair stand on end not only because of the new experience but also because of the incredible landscapes that you will see under your feet. It is all that we gather in our balloon flights at sunset over the Montseny Natural Park .

We will depart from Cardedeu , a town immersed in the Vallès Central and about 35 km from Barcelona city. The spectacular nature of the area, protected by San Celoni and Granollers , even more so with the sunset lights in the sky, will make this balloon ride one of the most exciting adventures you try.

The pilot who will be in charge of the flight will invite you to participate in the preparations required for the balloon, thus explaining how it works and telling you about some of the biggest curiosities surrounding these aircraft and the close relationship that awaits Igualada , located in Anoia .

When taking off from open spaces, in the middle of the field, we recommend coming comfortable and above all, with closed shoes that allow you to move around without difficulty. As for the coat, whatever corresponds to the time of year in which you are going to fly. Of course, try to come with your head protected with some type of cap or similar in case the heat of the balloon burners is annoying.

When takeoff begins we will be able to see how the Montseny is being left to the north while we go through the Vallès Oriental. Thanks to the air currents at these times of the day, we will be able to travel further, getting closer to Barcelona . Being so close to El Prat airport , we will not be able to exceed 1000 meters in height during the flight, however being so close to the Catalan capital on board a hot air balloon and at sunset, it is a privilege.

We will be flying for around 1 hour , provided the weather conditions are favorable. Upon landing, one of the most anticipated moments of this activity will take place and that puts the finishing touch to the experience. We will toast with cava and each of the participants will receive an accrediting diploma.
