Balloon flight at sunset near Barcelona 1 hour

Balloon flying is something that we should all try at least once. So when you have decided, choose the best one, the one that will make your hair stand on end not only because of the new experience but also because of the incredible landscapes that you are going to see under your feet. This is everything we gather on our balloon flights at sunset over the Montseny Natural Park.

We will depart from Cardedeu, a town immersed in the Vallès Central and about 35 km from Barcelona city. The spectacular nature of the area, protected by San Celoni and Granollers, even more so with the sunset lights in the sky, will make this balloon ride one of the most exciting adventures that you try.

The pilot who will be in charge of the flight will invite you to participate in the preparations required for the balloon, explaining how it works and telling you some of the greatest curiosities that surround these aircraft and the close relationship that awaits with Igualada, located in Anoia.

When taking off from open spaces, in the countryside, we recommend coming comfortably and, above all, with closed shoes that allow you to move around without difficulty. As for the coat, whatever corresponds to the time of year in which you are going to fly. Of course, try to come with your head protected with some type of cap or similar in case the heat from the balloon burners is bothersome to you.

When the takeoff begins we will be able to see how Montseny lies to the north as we travel through the Vallès Oriental. Thanks to the air currents at these times of day, we will be able to travel further, getting closer to the city of Barcelona. Being so close to the El Prat airport, we will not be able to exceed 1000 meters in altitude during the flight, however, being so close to the Catalan capital on board a hot air balloon and at sunset, it is a privilege.

We will be flying around 1 hour, as long as the weather conditions are favorable. Upon landing, one of the most anticipated moments of this activity will take place and puts the finishing touch to the experience. We will toast with cava and each of the participants will receive an accreditation diploma.
